Great example of how to teach a horse to leave in the direction you point them to. Also love the explanation of your initial body language which cues the horse of what to expect next. Thanks for sharing.

Have been having trouble when lunging on getting my horse to go to the right. He would always move his back end around the forehand. Going left has never been a problem. Eureka moment when watching and listening to this video - got down to the yard this evening, tried Warwick's method - so easy and low and behold, my horse went to the right with no problem at all! Repeated the exercise a few times on both reins, not asking for anything more than to move in the correct direction as Warwick suggested and he obliged each time with no fuss. Thank you very much.

I tried to lunge my pony for months and I never got anywhere. Took this guy three minutes to make me understand it wasn't that the pony didn't want to lunge, it was me doing the wrong thing... I feel so sorry for my pony now. He must have been so confused.

This is exactly the problem I'm having. I had it great then lost it somehow and couldn't work out where it had gone wrong. Now I know :)

Wie geil, endlich mal die besonderen Kleinigkeiten erklärt. Und das Pferd wundert sich wie einer so anstrengend und gleichzeitig verständnisvoll sein kann.
