Nope all stock, only thing that was touched was injectors turbo and the glow plugs. Cant kill the ole 7treebi👏

I had one of those and I loved the chip I always ran mine in the 140 hp in all weather conditions.

So are there any downsides to getting a chip like this? I got a 7.3 also and performance chips seem a little "to good to be true." Do they cause any extra stress or wear and tear on your engine or are they the real deal?

TheJman i have one but its DP instead of ts pretty much the same but DP in my opinion makes my truck run better than ts but anyway if you get stage 1 injectors with one of these tuned specifically for those injectors it’ll feel like your not even driving a 7.3 haha

Mine was just the opposite. Before the chip I got 19 MPG, after I got 15.6. BUT, this thing will get me a ticket. I also have stage 1 injectors.

Is the numbers u say like “75, 140”, etc the horsepower gain? Like if u had a 200 hp 7.3 and put the chip on 50 does it make it 250 hp?

The settings add to the base stock HP. So if you put it on the +50 HP you'll have 250 HP.

Hey! Thanks for commenting and watching! The truck is completely stock under the hood except the HPOP and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it! I knew I was going to et a chip in the future and with knowing that I knew I had to have better oil pressure so I replaced it! Sounds like you’ve got low compression in a cylinder or 2.

I have one on my 01 7.3. Yes you can. I have only had one time that doing this caused my truck to turn off on me. So, I leave mine in the 100hp and go. If i want to smoke...140 setting. I do switch on the fly between those all the time with no problem. My shut down may have been something else. Woke my truck up. A win

TS was trash for me, they have subpar customer service as well. You get what you pay for. Really like the Hydra/Jelibuilt.
