If that A/C orifice tube has a bunch of metal shavings in it then that tells me the compressor is failing. That’s the only way crap like that can clog the orifice tube. The A/C compressor on mine has the front bearing squeak sometimes so i’ll be changing the compressor, the orifice tube, the receiver/drier, and all the hoses soon.

The duramax is based off the 7.3. Look at the blueprints for the motor vs the 7.3. It’s a smaller version of it with a few changes to get passed a lawsuit

like my ts 6 position chip. the 140hp position dosent seam to do anything more than the 100hp position. hpop is stock need a larger one to get full potential out of it. do you have an over boost fooler?

20 to 28 mpg What? My 1999 7.3 powerstroke - I'm getting 13 maybe. It has something on it tunerwise maybe, but maybe not. I just for a 2001 dodge with cummins and it has a Edge box and wow what difference. I will be getting something for my ford. I was looking at that edge 6 position things like your buddy has. That would be perfect for me and if that improve the millage like his I'd be flipping out happy. My ford has 373 K and dodge 370 k my fiirst experiences with diesels. I'm liking both of them.
