Looking to maybe grab one of these... Any chance you can duck dive it? It's a nice to have not a just have but going under it through a wave is so much easier than turtle rolling.

Hi Jesse, this board does not duck dive well at all. The volume is 74 L. Of my 6 boards, this is my go to board. I have had it in overhead to tiny, less than one foot wave. This board delivers.

@@DaveWSimmons I figured the volume was too much to duck dive. I'm 235 so I was hoping but yeah likely not possible

How would you judge the mini mega for a guy a little heftier, a little older and in worse shape than you for real crappy waves? Would it still work or do I need to go up in size for the mega magic? Thanks for sharing : )

I have the 7’6 which has as much float as my 9’6 nose rider. I think it would be fine board. A friend of my calls the mini an old man’s short board. I am in my 50’s and it works for me.

Great surf ,how do you find this surfboard is it difficult? I have the same and still can’t surf this board,it seems unstable! I really would like to hear your opinion or any suggestion to make me surf my mini mega magic and not sell it ! Thanks in advance

Did you just get the board? I find it takes a few sessions to get a new board dialed in. The mini mega is one of my favorites... don’t sell it.

@@DaveWSimmons thanks for the advise the truth is I try it only 2 times and I was disappointed so much that I left in the garage .now I saw your video and wanted to give it one more try . My other board is a long 9,6 and mini magic seems so small that scares me watching the point nose .anyway thanks again if you have any other tip I would be more than pleased to hear them. @@DAM1DAM when you move to a shorter board it take awhile to get it. I recently purchased a 6’8 fish; it took me a month to get comfortable surfing it. Now I can catch anything on that fish that I can in my mini or my 9’6 retro.
