@@jacobs1834 LucasArts Games said they were going to be working on a bunch of stuff, and potentially bringing back into canon games that were in the works before Disney acquired the IP. This means potentially a remaster of the KOTOR games, and 1313 finally seeing the light of day. God I hope. I mean, I know Revan is already canon because of Rise of Skywalker, each legion is named after a Sith Lord and one of them is named after Revan, so we know he at least existed. Now if we find out one legion was named after Darth Traya we'd know for sure.

When Starkiller fights Sidious and defeats him, he even tells Kota that "this is too easy" and that it's a trick, and when he attempts to absorb Palpy's lightning just like Yoda, it ends with a huge explosion that kills him, compared to Yoda and Palpy who both get knocked back when they do it. As for him being stronger than Vader, Anakin had the _potential_ to be the strongest if he had never become Vader, when he became a cyborg he lost all of his potential and could not improve from where he already was. Vader also trained Starkiller from 4 years old in only offensive abilities, Vader was taught powers from the light side perspective from 10 years old and only learned dark side abilities after becoming Palpy's apprentice (unless you count force choke, since he used that in the clone wars, but seeing how it's basic telekinesis just on a neck instead of an object it doesn't count). Vader trailed Starkiller, and while Vader broke the rule of 2 in the first place by recruiting him, the rule of 2 states that the apprentice will always eventually overthrow the master. The rule of 2 is the entire reason Palpy is so powerful, he is the combined power of centuries of Sith going back to Bane, Anakin is the product of the living force and since he has been trained by Palpy for decades at this point, all of that power and knowledge is going into Starkiller. The entire reason Vader and Palpy are so powerful is the exact reason Starkiller is able to defeat them, even if Palpy was just a trick It sounds like your emotions of nostalgia are clouding your mind

Star Ward Battlefront 3 was the big one for me. The leaked gameplay trailer clips looked sick as hell and much more fun than the new generation of Battlefront games. I heard some of its assets were used for the PSP game instead but since I never had a PSP that one remained out of reach for me.

One thing to factor in all this, Lucasfilm has tight reign on their Star Wars IP and they have final greenlight approval on all the games developed, including assets, stories, gameplay and monetisation. I think Lucasfilm had more of a say in what projects were cancelled. Seriously they wanted Respawn to make a game with NO JEDIS, and it took a lot of pitch meetings to get them to budge and only cause EA liked Respawn as their golden studio. Will be interesting to see how many games came out of their new licensing deals, or will we just see more cancelled games?

I recall reading an article that eluded to 1313 being delayed again and again because George Lucas couldn't stop poking his necksack in to the development which is how the playable character ended up being Bawbag Fett. The only Star Wars game I really want to play though is Republic Commando 2.

No Star wars battlefront 3? It was supposed to be the third game of the original Star wars battlefronts not the terrible new ones. It was supposed to have ground to space combat where you could fight on the ground and then shift the space or vice versa and that game was canceled when Disney bought Lucas I think. But the OG Star wars battlefront 2 is my favorite game of all time I have fond memories playing it on my original Xbox along with knights of the Old Republic. And I believe there is test footage online for what it was supposed to be.

Squadrons is all right, but I'm still hoping for an Ace Combat style Star Wars fighter game with modern graphics and effects. There's something about Squadrons that just feels... I dunno, smaller than it should, somehow. Maybe it's being locked into cockpits that take up huge amounts of screen space (even if you _don't_ put a Grogu doll in your cockpit for some reason), with no 3rd-person option. Maybe it's the focus on laser cannon gun duels, while Ace Combat's guided missiles give a greater sense of distance. Maybe the TIEs and X-Wings are a little too fast for the size of the environments, so you're never all that far from some kind of terrain or map border. I still like it; it just feels slightly off, compared to what I was hoping for, is all.

Another idea I just got, Star Wars: Order 66. You play as ether a clone trooper or Jedi during the events of the third movie and have make choices threw out the game based on lightside or darkside influence.

Always wanted to play the Sith more. Not that there is a lack of Sith gameplay, or at least not now, but everything light side is tied heavily to Kyle or Luke and I think those storylines have run their course. Regardless the Sith side is a somewhat untouched area, aside from books and comics.

I hope this video is magic too. I knew about force unleashed 3 and 1313, but a darth maul game is news to me. I feel like force unleashed 3 could've done better than 2, there was talk of rpg elements, multiple worlds, co-op, being able to explore separately, also, I feel like it would've gotten to point like in "A Way Out" where you're facing off at the end, that could've been fun. 1313 probably would've just been uncharted star wars, and that would've been amazing especially if you're playing as Boba fett, maybe a young bounty hunter still making his name in the underworld. The maul game looked amazing just from combat gameplay, and all the talk about what it would've been, stealth, a different time period, even featuring another sith, that could've been the best of them all. Star wars was so much better before Disney had it's grubby paws all over it.
