The 2 points that I kind of contest on here are the cellphone case and wallet. I always place protection *FAR* above design for a cellphone case. Fortunately they usually are just flat black unless you go looking on websites for colored ones, but to me showing a desire to protect your $1K+ tool you use throughout every day says more than simply wanting it to look nice. When it comes to wallet I'll always take a well organized and decluttered traditional bifold simply for it's ability to carry plenty of cash and extra cards as needed. Sure when you're shopping at major stores and online, nowadays you may go for a card more often. But if you're dealing in 1 on 1 transactions or shopping local in some places you're still going to need cold hard cash. And cards, a lot of jobs that have security involved are moving to keycard systems and if you're in one of those job you may need your employee ID along with 2, 3, 4 or maybe more keycards for work. This may be case by case but we should never rule something out just because it is not a massive norm.
