Of course she poisons her own too. To prepare for this plot, years ago she started taking non-lethal amounts of the poison, gradually increasing the dosage and hardening her against its effects. So now she's immune and can safely poison all the fruit baskets (and fruit) in the world without any risk to herself.

Dead by Daylight's "Where Did They Go?" achievement. It requires super rare add-ons, complete cooperation from each survivor, and if you aren't playing with a team of friends, it's next to impossible.

"Emperor!" for Elder Scrolls Online is a pretty insane achievement, in that you have to be in the faction which owns all the territory around the Imperial City (which is a rarity) and then be the highest ranking player within that faction which requires almost 24/7 gameplay during the month/campaign if you wish to beat other achievement hunters ~ this would also only happen if the current Emperor falls down the rankings below yourself. It truly is a full-time job... but then you'd expect that from an Emperor... Back when the game first launched, Zenimax said that they were interested in interviewing people who obtained the Emperor rank... this surely must point out how rare and prestigious this achievement was and still is... as of writing this comment only 0.07% of players on the Xbox One own this achievement, insane.

You're kinda describing it wrong. You need to be on the top of the leader board for your alliance when the emperor is crowned, after the 6th keep is captured. Important difference, if you reach the top of the leaderboard after the keeps are captured and while your alliance currently has emp, you still don't get it. I've known people who spent days, even weeks, at the top of the leader board but never got emp because the other alliances couldn't dethrone a previous leader. I was going to mention this achievement myself before I saw you mention it. It's even harder to obtain now, that there are fewer campaigns and they've changed pvp. I got this in the first year when my guild had a pretty simple formula for getting it. Find a non-red emp weekly campaign when the campaign resets. Farm AP by taking one of yellow's home keeps, then just having the player going for emp get the D ticks...when that player reaches 50K, take the 6 inner keeps. We were a strong, very organized pvp guild and almost always had the leaderboards full of our members for at least the first few days of one of the campagins, and could flip the non-haderus campaigns almost at will. this enabled us to pass emp to guildmates. It didn't work all of the time, it took two tries to get it for me, and even the second try was one of the harder ones as there was one guy who knew how to get AP like no one else that was actively trying to prevent me from getting. It actually took a deal between our guild and the main yellow guild defending the keeps for me to finally get it. That went on for about 2 months, we crowned 48 different emps in that time. But then we started getting the attention of bigger yellow guilds, and no matter where we went, 2 or 3 of the games toughest guilds soon followed. The competition was still a lot of fun, but it made it incredibly hard to flip campaigns, so we became less about crowning emps and more about just winning battles. And I also point out that you have to be on the top of the leaderboards when emp is crowned shortly after the 6th keep is taken because one of my friends got crowned by the narrowest of margins. We had been up all night playing, and my friend and the other guy were neck and neck the entire time, so much so that neither wanted to take the final keep because they couldn't be sure that they wouldn't lose the lead while trying to take it. But then at around 7 in the morning, another group that wasn't us or the other guy at the top started taking the 6th keep. My friend and I joined in, even though he wasn't at the top of the leaderboards. Since we were there and the other guy wasn't, the tick he got for taking the keep put him up by 214 AP, and he got crowned emperor. That was one of the craziest nights I've ever had in the game.

there's an achievement in half life 2 where you literally carry a lawn gnome from basically the first level to THE END OF THE GAME then shoot it into space on a rocket, not like catty it in your inventory, no, a physical prop that you pick up and hovers in front of you the whole game. You have to load it up into your crap vehicles and pray to God it stays there while a helicopter shoots you with missiles. You have to kill bosses while protecting it. the most obvious achievement and you missed it!

The easter egg achievments from Call of Duty Zombie Mode were really hard and required many specific steps, teamwork, timing and communication. I remember spending many hours looking up guides and trying to do the easter eggs several times. And I also remember how satisfying it was to having completed them and letting people see that you did those hard achievments.

Hah - oh boy you have no idea. Where do I even start with this? Okay, here goes. I'm guessing oxbox don't care about PC games from ten years ago so this won't make the commenter edition, but Guild Wars had an achievement called 'Legendary Defender of Ascalon', which required you to get to max level in the tutorial area of the game. The catch? You could only gain experience from killing stuff if it was within a couple of levels of you, and there weren't enough quests to gain XP from, so it was literally impossible to gain enough XP to reach max level while still in Ascalon. *However*... Whether by accident or by an act of foresight as ingenious as it was diabolical, the developers had left an opening - in the structure of the game they released two years before they added titles - by which players could gain become a Legendary Defender of Ascalon. For a price. You see, not only did you gain experience from killing enemies, the mechanics of the game worked exactly the same way when enemies killed you. Someone must have been mind-bogglingly bad at the game to find this out, but if the monsters killed you enough times they would level up. So all you had to do was get killed by a monster, resurrect, go back and get killed again, and you'd have an enemy of a high enough level to grant you experience for killing it. Well, sort of. See, death levelling an enemy like this (yes, this was enough of a thing for there to be a term for it), required hundreds, even thousands of deaths. And to prevent spawn killing there were no enemies anywhere near the resurrection shrines. So unless you wanted to personally take your character back to the enemy after every single death, you had to lure the enemies to the resurrection shrine. Unfortunately, the enemy AI had fixed aggro ranges and fixed pathing that meant that simply running over and waving your tasty behind in the monster's face wouldn't be enough to budge them from their position for long. In order to lure them all the way to the resurrection shrine, you had to painstakingly use the terrain to mess up their pathing enough that the AI would get confused, and gradually drag them back towards the right spot (often only for them to run all the way back to their original position when you were almost there). Once you had them at the resurrection shrine, though, you could leave your character to die hundreds of times over, resurrecting automatically only to be killed again, thereby levelling up the enemies. Hopefully there is no computer version of Toy Story going on here and our game avatars aren't secretly sentient, because in that case leaving your character trapped in this living hell was probably a bit unkind. However, after maybe 6-8 hours of this you could come back and kill your newly strengthened enemies and reap that sweet, sweet experience. Of course, having levelled up your enemies were now super-powered versions of their former selves, but slowly whittling down their health as you continued to die over and over again was the easy part. And you'd have to go through this cycle several dozen times before you could finally claim your Legendary Defender of Ascalon title. In all, it only took about a month - running the death levelling continuously day and night - to reach the title. If you had a spare computer you were laughing (except for the half an hour per 6 - 8 hour cycle it took to get the enemies into position, of course). If you didn't have a spare computer... well, it was an excellent time to catch up on your reading. Well, that *is* a lot of planning, not least because it's just one title that didn't even bring any in-game buffs. Except it's not just one title. Titles were more of an end game thing - you got one for completing each campaign, for example. And if you collected several titles, you would get titles for that too. And if you wanted to get the highest title-collecting title, the one for collecting thirty other titles, the greatest title attainable in Guild Wars (named 'God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals'; if anything, the name undersells it. Gods in Guild Wars were probably less dangerous than a player with this title), you needed the Legendary Defender of Ascalon title. Well, that's not entirely true - there were others you could substitute, but they were actually even more insanely difficult to get to the point where it was basically next to impossible (not that that ever stopped hardcore GW players). So at some point a lot of people, having spent hundreds of hours building towards 'God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals' must have realised that they were on 29/30 titles and could really, *really* use Legendary Defender Of Ascalon. Unfortunately, once you'd left the tutorial area you could never go back. There was never going to be any chance that the developers would patch the game to bring in a convenient boat/portal/rideable dragon that would take you back to the tutorial area. The developers were *really* thorough about cutting off that possibility: you didn't just move to a different area once you opted to complete the tutorial. Ascalon got obliterated by magic nukes, and you began the game proper in the ashen post apocalyptic wasteland that had once been its green, rolling hills. So planning for later efforts to get GWAMM was a big reason for getting Legendary Defender of Ascalon. But one of the big draws of getting the 'God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals' title in Guild Wars 1 was the promise of sweet rewards and titles in Guild Wars 2. And at the time we're talking about, GW2 had been announced but was still years away from release ( when it finally came it did indeed include rewards and a title for those with the GWAMM title from GW1.) To be clear, you couldn't just get the other 29 titles on your main character and then create a new character to get Legendary Defender of Ascalon. You had to get all 30 titles on the same character in order to get GWAMM. *So*, when you first created your character you had to not leave the tutorial area as normal but instead use a loophole in the game's mechanics to level up enemies with your own deaths so you could kill them so you could gain experience over the course of weeks, if not months, so you could reach max level so you could get the Legendary Defender title so you could later get the GW1 God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals title so you could get the GWAMM title in the Guild Wars sequel that wouldn't even come out for several years.

Ah Yes Calendar Man. Not to be confused with the Clock King. Seriously, Batman has 2 villains whose whole motif are items used to mark the passage of time. There's also Twoface, with his OCD with making all of his crimes 2 based. The Mad Hatter who is obsessed with women named Alice because he likes Alice in Wonderland. The Riddler who exists purely to show how stupid he is in comparison to Batman. The Ventriloquist, a guy with split personality disorder who let's his evil personality take control of his dummy Tweedledum and Twiddledee, 2 fat guys who are also named after Alice characters, because why not? and The Cluemaster, a failed Game Show host turned Riddler ripoff

The Gnome achievement in HL2:E2, carry a gnome through most of the campaign to another gnome (I forgot the name). I lost it in the mines.

I know its PC and Playstation consoles but Hyperdimension neptunia Re;birth 2 sisters generation, "Gamindustris Ultimate Savior". an achievement that REQUIRES you to complete the game 9 different ways with each saves needing different levels on a 5-way ratio balance and getting 100 MILLION credits along with killing the secret boss and levelling all the coupling ranks with every character to the max.

How about an unlockable (achievement if it was on Xbox) for Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn. There is a conversation that is unlocked at the end but it requires a laundry list of things for you to do during the game. However it also includes, before doing anything else, for you to migrate a saved game data from its prequel Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance where the MC and Soren must have a 'A' rank bond. So literally you need two games (and multiple playthroughs due to other requirements) in order to unlock this short conversation which is literally just the two characters talking about the long journey its been.

What about the Vidmaster Achievements for Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST? The Annual, Endure, and Deja Vu challenges were time consuming and offered 0 incentive unless you completed all 7, had a Bungie.net account synced to Xbox LIVE, and therefore redeemed your sweet Recon Armor Set. BUT! as a lovely slap in the face, toward the end of Halo 3's lifeline, everyone was granted the armor set anyways.

Ori Ori Well, you only have NG+ in DS1 for 2 things, and if im not mistaken both things can be gained if you are given 2 copies of lord gwyn's soul by other players. The two things you need being his sword (craft it at giant blacksmith) and sunlight spear from the warriors of sun covenant. There isn't anything else that can't be gained in NG1 to my knowledge, but the other games can't be cheated out by someone giving you all the items where as DS1 can be. (i do have the dark soul in DS1 and DS2, so i do know what im on about.)

How about the trophy "And They'll Tell Two Friends" from Borderlands? It requires you to play an online match with someone from Gearbox or someone already with the trophy. Maybe I was just unlucky, but I kept playing online matches with really unhelpful teammates and not once did this pop.

Don't forget 'Strength in Numbers' from Left 4 Dead 2, since you have to form a full team and play and win a full match in versus/scavenge mode. Where you have to do it via the team mode, and you're only allowed to bring in 3 friends for your team, and not say 8 friends, one team intentionally loses so the other can get the achievement and then vise versa. So you get your team of 4, enter matchmaking with another team of four and it'll either be a team of clanners that are way more skilled than you are and will completely destroy your team in seconds, or it's a bunch of randomers that will get trounced, and then rage-quit. (Which if all four of the enemy team leave the lobby, the game ends, nobody wins, and no-one can join the game mid-match) And to do a full game of scavenge or versus takes about 30 minutes to an hour to complete, sometimes longer. And finally, good luck getting a match in nowadays with hardly anyone even playing the game anymore.

Final Fantasy VI, "King of the Beasts". You need to grind about a hundred encounters in almost every section of the game, about 60% of which are missable. It took me 3x 100% playthroughs, multiple online guides, and several spreadsheets to complete. It requires grinding encounters for enemies which are not in the bestiary, getting alternate encounters for enemies where only 1 specific encounter unlocks the enemy (other encounters have the enemy but don't unlock the rage), save/loading when you fail to get a specific encounter in 1-chance-only random situations, and save/loading when you fail to get all possible random encounters in long scripted sequences.

My Wife did Insane in the Membrane for World Of Warcraft, This involved grinding your way to exalted reputation with 6 factions and honoured with another 2 (not all at the same time), many of the factions being enemies of each other so raising your reputation with one lowers your reputation with another, and sometimes the grind involves mining for gems or picking hundreds of flowers that can be made into a book and then trading in hundreds of books for rep, a truly earned title but just after she got the title they made it somewhat easier.

You forgot Dead Space 2's achievement for completing the game on the Hardest Difficulty which only allowed you 3 saves over what was a 10-12 hour campaign And the GRAW top of the global leader boards achievements which required you to get to the top of the Solo, Team, and Universall Leaderboards. And any Skull collecting related Achievement in Halo 3 and Halo CE Anniversary edition. Given the crazy shit you had to do to get some of them.

If I ever make a game, there'll be an achievement called "that took serious planning" where you have to replay the story on each of the outside crew's Birthday, and then play the story one last time on its hardest difficulty while the character's name is one of your names.
