Steve, you are so on the money regarding tip #6. In addition to my photography hobby, I do a lot of home audio recording, and when it finally comes time to mix a song, the same advice holds true - it even has a name - one is always advised to "sleep on a mix"! I suppose ears and eyes can both suffer from over-exposure and need a break to perform at their best. Over the years, I've picked up on many similarities between creating good images and a well mixed song; and you tend to absorb information and techniques that can be applicable to both. Having been a part of the transition from analogue to digital in both disciplines (i.e. film to digital and tape to digital), I guess it's not surprising the amount of crossover between the two.

Cheers Steve, yeah it's funny how many parallels there are between photography and audio. Even some of the same terminology at times! Dynamic range, clipping, compression, noise etc. just off the top of my head

Do you give editing lessons? Also, do you have an Instagram page? Or a main website?

I don't do 1-on-1 lessons right I have a group program coming up soon. There's a notification list you can join here: ppmastery.com/centrepiece Alternatively I have editing courses available on my site photomasteryclub.com but if you download my free plugin from the link in my channel profile there's a special offer available on my main course from there. I don't upload often, but here's my instagram: instagram.com/stevearnoldphoto/ :)
