I got a few you should definitely check out from the nexus Skyrim Special Edition: 1) Mealtime - a Food and Recipe Mod by avform: giving more variety of food to eat and craft with a lot of benefits and patch compatible with CACO. He also has other food mods like chocolate, teas, and so on. Along with upgrades of ingredients' texture and a quest mod in point 2. 2) Cheesemod for EVERYONE by avform: a quest mod from Sheogorath to collect all the cheese in Skyrim, over 200 of them. You get a nifty Deadra Artifact for completing it, that is somewhat original. 3) Diverse Dogs by clioshand: giving much need diversity and love to neglected parts in Skyrim Special edition, the dogs. Not a Cats Life, but a good start. 4) Attack Dogs - A dog combat overhaul by PaleNoises: improve the combat of dogs, foxes, and various other canines ranging from summons and undead to Deadra. Plus giving additional animal followers that good boy. 5) Reasonable Silver Hand by gw5000: turn the Silver Hand into a friendly faction that gives quests to kill werewolves and sell you silver weapons and armor until you join the companions. 6) Silver Hand Armored by Lochrey: a good alternative to Unplayable Faction Armors to give the Silver Hand tougher armor to fight against werewolves while showing that they are mercenaries first and foremost. This is more taste but it is a hidden gem for it made to work and use, or plan to use several other armor sets to flush out the Silver Hand.

Found a seventh mod that is a good, noticeable edition. 7) More Horses (Foals Herds Saddles and More) by Nyphani. Also, the Silverhand mod got an update to include more customization in the Silverhand, to using the Silverhand standalone armor, or using Immersive armors to stand out.

We need a full mod to REPAIR Winterhold (get rid of the ruined buildings and expand the city inwards away from the coast line, and REPAIR the College bridge and stone work. SKYRIM is a dump - no body fixes the stone work, the walls, the buildings. Several mods repair Helgen and make it a new town again.

Skyrim beastiarys is a new one, you hunt creatures and use pelts or other items found on them to make books detailing them that you can read. You can upgrade the versions and on volume 3 you deal more damage to those creatures. Great for hunter and scholar characters

thank you for mentioning ultimate college! i love it so much and it really makes the college actually feel magical. but not just magical, it also feels practical and like its a real place to learn. the new rooms and quarters added also make it feel like theres more than just 4 places in a college, but it feels like a real place of learning

Honestly, wasn't expecting it to be so exciting, but while watching the video i was just getting more and more surprised, because the quality of footage as well as thoose really hidden gems are too good. I already had been watching this kind of series by Sinitar (i didn't like it) and 'cause of that my expectations were low, but you, Syn, beat them up! I would like to mention “The Midden: Expanded” is an extremely underrated mod. This mod has some of the best atmosphere I’ve seen in a mod. It’s also compatible with most CoW edits since it only edits the Midden and Winterhold.

Probably the best none new lands (cowl of nocturnal, beyond bruma/reach) quest that I’ve played. It’s not “lore friendly” but it’s close enough that you don’t really notice.

Maelstrom was pretty awesome! I played it when if first came out. That same mod author has another (yet much shorter) mod called Hel Unleashed. Also has some cool followers. Keep up the great work Syn 🤘🏼

It's an old mod that hasn't been updated since 2012 and only on the Oldrim Nexus (easily convertible tho), but I've used "The Tesseract" in many of my dwemer-themed playthroughs throughout the decade. It's a house mod with a bunch of unique features that, to this day, I have not seen another house as compact and still as fully featured as this one.

Well one hidden gem that I really like is called tainted blood of the dragonborn it basically allows you to hold both the werewolf and vampire lord transformation at the same time it does more than that obviously but that’s its biggest feature it also works with other mods like that one mod that lets you turn into a Lich

Have you heard of Enderal? In my eyes that's the best "Mod" of Skyrim I have ever played. Like Maelstrom it has its own complete story and setting. It has the length of a full on game, multiple side quests and 3 different endings depending on the choices you make in the game. It is also fully voice acted in German and English. You can download it on steam for free.

A mod list perhaps in the future? The Apex Somber ENB is fantastic, the only thing I'd would say is that the dungeons and some interiors are way to dark. Sure you can tweak the brightness, but then it loses it's luster. I'm sure if I keep playing with the settings I'll find my niche. Brilliant video mate. Cheers!

really underrated mod that I've seen only one person talk about is "Dealing with Daedra". It's a really nice mod that was recently updated. It's mostly centered around being able to RPing as someone with no magical ability obtaining power through alternate means. From curses that are spell that draw from max health and stamina instead of magicka, to deals lovecraftian entities to transform your body, to just making candles made from human fat that increases your magicka pool to let you use spells. And much more, especially because it's still being updated. There's also a whole quest campaign around it meant for you to start at level one, when you start it it's supposed to drain your magicka to zero but last update (possibly due to some incompatibilities on my end) it didn't. It's a nice mod, and I've yet to see much pf anyone talk about it.

Glad you enjoyed it. At the moment, I am not looking into plans for episode two, as I do have some other projects in the works. However, it's always a good idea, although of course optional, to join my Discord and suggest a mod there yourself. It's how 1 or 2 mods made their cut into this video :)

Speaking of getting pulled in by fan made story telling, Having a seat and speaking with Drelas in his cabin (from Interesting NPC's) while the game plays Yggdrasil Music and SoundFX is an incredibly tense and chilling conversation. For those with understandable questions: I would have never thought I'd want to change Skyrim's music either, especially to some other generic fantasy and usually Celtic soundtrack, until I found Yggsdrasil. You owe it to yourself to try it.

But particularly more so because of that colour scheme of white and gold throughout 😍 What mods do you have that change the vanilla colour scheme of the College to that white/brown and gold version? That Ultimate Winterhold College interests me. I run LotD and M'irssi that affect the college. I use Obscures since it has a patch for both. I want the NPCs from Immersive's though, especially to choose a different headmaster at the end of the main quest.

btw have you seen this mod called ‘sink or swim’ it’s pretty good and I haven’t seen it on any vids yet. It makes it so if you have heavy armour equipped you sink and walk across the bottom of the water instead of swimming.
