Good video, with a few options. I use Proraso across the board with my DE razor. They are the products best suited to my skin type which is between normal and sensitive. I use their "white label" products for sensitive skin. Pre/post shave cream, along with shaving soap in a bowl, and of course, the balm afterwards. Highly recommended brand, at a far better price than some of the others i have tried. I also avoid off the shelf products like the plague as they are just not up to scratch, and many are a rip off, none more so than the awful multi bladed cartridge razors.

Great video! It’s important to note that the Prorasso balm in the video is the Blue formula. There is White for sensitive skin. I just started using it and interested to see how it does.

One of my favorites is Nivea Men Protect and Care 2 in 1 After Shave. As the name implies it has properties of both a splash and a balm. Gives a slight 'bite' at first and it is lightly mentholated for a nice cooling effect. It quickly drys down to a smooth balm like finish. The great Nivea Men scent is light and does not overpower you. Not sold in stores in the US but available on line and not to expensive.

Nivea is not a cruelty-free company. There are plenty of other companies that are cruelty-free that make comparable or better aftershaves. I choose to not support animal cruelty whenever possible.

The Proraso lotion is awesome for people with normal or oily skin but there are definitely a lot of other great options on the list as including the various aftershave balms and aftershave splashes. Just be sure to select one that will work best for your skin type!

Thanks for the enjoyable video. I was a teeny bit surprised that you didn’t come up with a couple of my favorites and especially one that is very inexpensive and works amazingly well. T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel Liquid. Yes, it has alcohol, but that is from the witch hazel distillation process rather than it being added, Making it one of the strongest and purest forms of liquid witch hazel. Nothing Sue’s my face like it and it’s only $3.99 for 16 ounces. Cheers

Thanks for the great video! So do you need to apply only one of 3(Splash, Lotion, Balm)? or need Balm additionally after Splash or Lotion? I'm currently using CLUBMAN CLASSIC VANILLA AFTER SHAVE only but feel kinda dried out cuz it contains a lot of alcohol :(

I'm using the Kiehls pre shave scrub and Everyman jack face lotion after I shave but its not helping much. The area around my mouth feels bad like a razor burn I guess. What do you recommend for me? thanks
