I use an Anker battery also sold as EZOPower, that has two USB ports and one DC Power port with 9v and 12v output. It powers my Canon 6D and 60D, as well as my Canon RP camera. I also have the FP Flashpoint battery that powers my flashes but also has a DC port to power my camera with the proper dummy load to camera.

Great video! I got the dummy battery + powerbank (no need for ifootage). I do admit it's not really practical for run and gun shooting, because I don't carry around a cage to attach it. However, I shoot most of the time on a tripod so I just hang the powerbank in a small bag and hook it where I can. Otherwise, I have three small batteries that last at least 1h30 to 3h00 depending on how much footage I shoot.

so as your camera is running through the Weipu, battery supply voltage starts to drop as the battery is drained. The duration of when the voltage drop too low for the transistors to fully switch cause excessive heat, eventual turning your transistors into resistors, shutting down the camera, eventually damaging the transistors. The Battery Compartment has circuit protection apparently, shutting down when it see Low Voltage, saving the camera from heat, but leaving 40% battery with unused charged. Battery slot takes between: 6.2v - 10v External Input (Weipu) between: 10.8v - 20v So basically don't use the Weipu if you don't have a way to monitor your battery voltage as it drops, below 10.8v using the Weipu is cooking your camera even tho it is running longer.

Thank you so much for the Tilta options. I have the Nucleus nano and am in love with Tilta's build quality. Will consider their options. One thing I do not like about my Blindspot is the lack of a see through aka cheese plate style 1/4" mount. Was experimenting on a recent event photoshoot with my Canon M5 as my secondary camera and my style of mouting it did not work. Having said that, I was surprised by how power hungry my main camera was. My X-T2 with grip including the 3 batteries, devoured them really fast. Guess I was too used to my DSLRs with their LP-E6ns. Also, thank you for sharing about the ones you think are dangerous. I have that bulky one too from amazon and used it once with my M5 and the Crane 2(for some reason none of my DC cables fit into the Crane 2's Output) BTW could you do a video about the various DC cables out there? I need a structured mini crash coure on the purpose and function behind each pin design. Would love watch a video about that from bot you and Gerald Undone. Together, you guys ccan really give quite an in depth education on such topics in your own styles. Thankfully my equipment and me were safe, gonna toss that bulky one into the recycle station this weekend.
