In the 10 years I've been in the recording industry, I've always been highly against drum programming. But... out of laziness, I decided to start doing it and I honestly don't know if I can go back lol. There's something to be said about the realism and process of recording live drums, but I've gotten some pretty extraordinary sounding drum tracks with SSD5. With the way technology has gotten and the types of samples they have now, it's not only possible, but easy to make them sound like a real drummer. Some of my programmed drums sound even more real than my actual playing lol. As much as I hate to say it, VSTs are a god sent. At the end of the session, it's not about how you did it. It's about how it sounds 🤷

Wow LANDR reviewed my MONSTER DRUMS 😍😍😍 For the info, the current version of Monster Drums (released on July, 2024), has 88 drumkit/presets in 20 music genre 😀

If you would release one day this vst for linux i probably would donate you something :) But not cause of that, i mean generally people start avoiding windows slowly for music production.Linux is just not ready but people are just waiting for more opportunities.

I'm a complete newbie. Just got the Alesis Nitro Max kit. it comes with BFD Player. Is it possible to use BFD player in GarageBand? If so, how would I do that? Thanks.

I dont think garageband supports any VST plugins at all. You'll have to buy another DAW, i'm afraid

So, each note on the piano roll is a sound in the plugin... What I had to do was remap it on the drum itself, on its module. It's a bit of work! I don't know if there's an easier way haha
