The charizard box is at sale at walmart for about 50$ right now. It comes with the statue, 10 packs and 3 cards ( charizard, charmeleon and charmander) so that is super worth right now if you get it at that price.

For anyone like myself who JUST WANTS TO COLLECT CARDS, I found it interesting that a booster box of stellar crown goes for like 120-140$ right now but on tcg player I can buy individual packs for about 3.23$ a pack which if I bought 36 packs would be about 116$ making it cheaper

Idk if it’s the same with Pokémon, but I buy boxes of other cards for the guarantees. Buying several packs doesn’t give you that.

Yeah booster boxes often have a premium because boxes have an (almost) guaranteed amount of hits.

What is the difference between all the types of boxes? Can all pokemon be in different kinds? Is it just the artwork?

Yes all cards in a set can come in different boxes as long as they are the same set like a booster box of stellar crown or a single pack if stellar crown you can find the same cards, thus goes for any pack you find with the same name as another

Gotta point out bad advice when i see it. ETBs are the GOLD Standard on what to waste your money on with half the price going towards accessories and storage you can get generic forms of for cheaper. If you HAVE to buy a single etb cause you no shit MUST fill your need of a promo than buy the pokemon center versions for your etbs as they come with an extra stamped version of the card.but even a soft box collection has more worth. This guy must be a casual because who else would state stellars top chases are Art Rares of the set???

Yeah but you have to factor in shipping and import fees on top of that for retailers and then obviously they need to make a profit so... it seems like a perfectly reasonable price to me.

@ViolentRainbow no its not. The shiny Treasure here in germany for Just 35 to 40 Euro. Why? Because the price drop if its come out in your language. Festival is New, hyped, and the people want it now at all cost. I wait till january or February and i get it cheap.

@@Dantohr Um yes it is. Japanese cards are not manufactured in America, everything has to be imported. I don't think you realise how expensive that is, and like I said retailers need to make a profit or they wouldn't bother importing and selling it so that extra $25 a box is absolutely justified.
