7 Best Qi Wireless Chargers

Happy to see my Mophie Charge Force on here. It’s DEFINITELY more expensive than other options but worth it for the security of the name; I’m not against the Brain, but that dock-like design and lack of brand security (probably not the most stellar customer support) made the Mophie a happy choice. Now I have the Grip (likely one of various brandings for the QiInfinity), trying it out and gifting for a friend. I’m guessing it’s probably a cousin/retooling of the Qistone Plus. Where’s that power bank? What’d you think of that one?

My dream wireless charging device: 1. Supports fast charge (10v- on Android). 2. Can also be used as a power-bank, with a minimum 10,000 mAh. (Charge both phone and power-bank at the same time) 3. Can fast charge extra devices using cables. 4. Protects the device from over charging, overheating, and power surges. 5. Preferably from a know manufacturer, with good build quality. *nice to have - allows you to tilt the phone, or place it flat on it's back. Have not found one yet...

I have the Samsung Wireless Charger, the stand version. Is there a way to have my phone on there without having it warm up? Samsung says that it's normal that it warms up but when my phone is fully charged, it's still slightly warm and I have the fast charge feature turned off.

+Tony Castle yes they do. That's the idea of Qi. It's a standard. Think of it like Bluetooth. The difference between some though will be the speed of the charge but they'll all work

Wireless Charging may be a nice idea if you can leave the phone and the charger laying in the same Position - but what if you are moving aroung? How can I make sure that the phone and the charger always stay in contact when stored inside a bag? Connected with a cable, you don´t have that problem that the charging process could be interrupted. Whats the solution? Did anybody think about that?

The samsung fast charger i have. It charges really quick but you have to sit the device on it just right for it to charge.......

I don't know if I have just gotten use to it but it seems to get better over time and after having for a while i went back to old case i stopped using because it wasn't working but it does work now.

Lol use a fast wireless charger which has 9W output as s8 supports fast wireless charging(unlike the new iPhones).I grabbed a $10 charger from valueclub challenger here in sg which not only charges fast with 10W,it is also really thin,small and looks good...

Not if done properly, but frankly it'd be REALLY hard to do considering there isn't space in the phone for it if it wasn't designed to have it.

TheUnlockr that's why I worry that if I use one of those coil things that you plug into the charging port and hide with a case that it'll explode or something. Was thinking of doing the retro fit for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and an ancient android. ( ZTE fury). Doubt it's worth burning the house down. But I know very little about the space. So I thought I'd ask

Usually these chargers work with a case on the phone. My Belkin wireless charger, forexample, works with my iPhone in the original Apple leather case, no problem.

+Chemy JMHT I agree, the issue with it as far as I know is it limits the materials the phone can be made out of (i.e. no metal) and isn't easy to fit in the phone but they're getting better at it. It'll soar in popularity if Apple puts it in their iPhone ever, of course lol
