My husband surprised me with a 6 day trip to El Salvador (technically 4 days, the day you arrive and the day you leave don't count). My only regret, was not staying longer. People were so friendly, I asked a guy for directions, he hopped in his car and guided us to the location 🤯 In Mexico my in-laws and I have encountered some corrupt police and street vendors, it was a nice experience being a tourist in El Salvador. I feel like they treat tourists with respect ❤

@Raquel D The same thing happened to us. I'm Salvadorean Canadian and my family left 33 years ago, so I was a little girl when we left. When I visited the first time after 25 years with my husband, Italian Canadian, I was like a tourist (sadly) and my people were so kind to us. One night we were lost, and this amazing man was eating with his wife, and noticed we were lost. He hopped in his car and ensured we made it to our Airbnb. My husband was shocked, and amazed by El Salvador and the beautiful people. ❤

I be honest with you for a few year's we have been talking about going back to live there. Lately even more..! Yeah we missed everything. The food, the fruits and beaches. Thank you for loving my county I moved to the USA when I was 18 years old now I am 61 and I have been in my country once. I miss El Salvador. I am watching your video and I say to myself what lucky lady I am getting closer for retirement and I am planning to buy a house in El Salvador I do not know where because I feel I am a stranger in my own country. Im Salvadoran I’m living in California USA for 27 years,I love USA a lot ,but never forget my country 🇸🇻🇸🇻I just came back 2 weeks ago from my country we spend Christmas there with my daughter who Born in USA 🇺🇸 and love to go visit my 🇸🇻every time we go there we help kids and family with toys,shoes clothes,and food ,EL SALVADOR is a abrir igual country to visit I always recommend people to visit my country we have a lot beautiful places 🥰🥰and I’m glad you lived in there with your family and thanks for shared placer of my country God bless you !!!!

WOW. I left El Salvador on June 23, 1986. I've been back once, in the year 2000. I was so scare to go back. I'm originally from Santa Tecla. I graduated from Colegio Belen. Unfortunately I don't any relatives there anymore. Looks beautiful.
