7 Best Robot Mops in 2024

How does a robot mop could clean the floor if it doesn’t do do steam moping? As you can’t use any detergent? Just cold water don’t most dirty floors. Any idea anybody??

If there is a mess that actually requires soap and warm water to clean up (hardened cat puke), these machines ARE NOT going to do anything except smear the mess. They are good for light dust, dust bunnies and cat hair on FLOORING NOT CARPETS. If your vacuum goes over anything gross, you will need to properly clean the bottom of the vacuum.

The M7 has a specialized solution you mix with the water. It does a good job in open areas but doesn’t do as well along baseboards or. Dried spots. I change the settings so it uses more solution and passes over those areas but it still fails to get up coffee my dad spilled a few days before

I have the roomba s9+ combo. While the roomba has been a life saver, I want a mop that actually scrubs the floor all the way up to the wall. The m7 uses a pad and doesn’t clean along baseboards. Even with max water squirts and double passing, it has a hard time with dried liquids like coffee my dad’s spills and I don’t find until days later. I just wait until I can get my wheelchair to a place I can reach it.

Do not consider Braava jet m6! Not even regular roomba. My Braava under warranty and the company refuses to receive and repair Braava that has a malfunction with smart maps.

I have the s9+ set. I had a few smart map issues that took awhile to figure out. Not the best mapping software. Some places it would miss a room or half a room. The trick was to create a clean zone for those areas and specifically send it to those areas. Eventually they got added to the map. Zones are your friend. I love the roomba but their customer service support suffered. My m7 did odd things during covid lockdown. It took 6 months to finally get it replaced. That’s been a couple of years now so maybe they got their staffing issues resolved.

Stay away from Bravva Jet! They are horrible products and the company doesn’t honor the warranty
