Nice video, but I think you forgot a team: SC Braga. Before the turn of the century they weren't even that great in the portuguese league, more of a mid-tabble team, usually finishing 7th-10th, and only 1 portuguese cup as silverware. Since 2003-2004, when their current president got in charge, António Salvador, they managed to establish themselves as the 4th strongest portuguese team with 9x4th place, 2x3rd, 1x2nd, in 17 seasons. Won 1 portuguese cup and 2 league cups. Got into Champions League Group Stage twice (1x3rd, 1x4th) Got into the group stage of Europa League(or were dropouts from Champions) 10 times, getting past the group stage 9 times out of 10, even managing to get to the Europa League final in 2010/2011, in a amazing campaign were they started in the Champions League finishing third on the group with 9 points, went to the Europa League and even knocked out Liverpool but ended losing 1-0 in the final to Porto. They also got a new stadium with the Euro 2004. Currently, they are focusing more and more into developing youngsters, and are starting to get good results with the likes of Francisco Trincão who left for Barcelona this past summer for a record breaking sell for the club of around 30M€. Quite impressive considering many of those years they had quite low budgets (10M or less) and their home city has around 200k people. It isn't just a good season, but consistent results, fruit of a good management. From portuguese mid-table mediocrity to Europa League knock-out stages regulars, I feel like they have over achieved more than pretty much any club on this list, but not even a honorable mention.

While trophies are valuable as they're the main prize, there's a certain sense of pride in knowing that the club is being run with people with good intentions and are representative of the area they come from, which makes it all the more worthy for fans to donate and ensure sustainability in the form of buying merchandises (and tickets, when fans are allowed to show up to the stands again). The progress in the last 10 years specifically is truly astounding, going from White Hart Lane to the 1 billion pound TH stadium, the best training facilities in the world, José Mourinho as their manager and a squad filled with not only excellent home grown players like Kane, but also unbelievable imports on he cheap such as Son and Lloris. Leicester over the past 5 or 6 years has seemingly been run very well (maybe even longer for all I know). They have sold a handful of players like Kante, Drinkwater, Mahrez, Maguire, and Chilwell for big profits (over 300 million in transfer fees just for those five players), have been pretty intelligent in many of their additions (if Leicester sold Maddison, Söyüncü, Ricardo, and Ndidi for their current market values they would make a combined 95 million in profit from what they paid to acquire them all within the past few seasons), and they still have a few guys around from that Premier League title-winning side playing a bit like it's still 2015 in Vardy, Schmeichel, and to a degree Fuchs and Albrighton. Really the only misses they've had in the past few years have been Slimani, Iheanacho, and Perez, but the latter two have at least contributed somewhat and still have a bit of resale value if the club were to take that route. All in all given their continued competitiveness and staying power in the league, holding their own when given opportunities in Europe, the fact their ground seems to be one of the more raucous in the league when there isn't a pandemic ongoing (and is still a relatively newer stadium), and their profitability in the market, I thought they would have been a shoe-in for this list, or at least get a shout-out.

Might be biased as a leicester fan but I believe we deserve at least an honourable mention. If you look at our business and how we’ve reinvested in players and training facilities I’d say were one of the best run clubs in the pl

Would be interested in a full length Ajax profile. Superb club in terms of football philosophy and financial model. A conveyor belt of quality footballers coming through their academy.

How about a video covering seven different dream line-ups. Build each with unique formations and no overlapping players. The teams could also hypothetically be in the same league, hopefully adding more purpose and considering to the structures. Then, which team would win a 24 game season? Thanks for the excellent content!

I would love you to share the story about Ajax. I think people should know how we constantly somehow make an insane comeback to the European Scene

You should do another video that ties in slightly with this. 7 worst ownership spells at football clubs ever, where are they now.

Maybe you could do it for every one of the top 5 european leagues

How SL benfica wasn’t even mentioned is shocking... Great selection on Eibar I do agree with that.

I love that you didn't just pick the obvious clubs, good job! What about Union Berlin? Just played 1:1 against Bayern. One of the best fan bases in Germany. And build their stadium themselves. (Yes, I'm biased.)

Honorable Mention Ajax: certainly worth a mention / video. World power in the 70s. World power in mid 90s. Players walking out of the club for free. Non-football directors in the board in the 2000's. Cruyff's vision and the pro and con Cruyff camps leading to tough years. And then they got Overmars and v.d. Sar in. Now they are making 100s of millions (de Jong, de Ligt, vd Beek, Davinson Sanchez, but also Milik etc). Great youth academy. European 'success' in the last 6 years. Being able to compete with the Real Madrid in acquiring youth talent from South America. But also the tragic of Nouri. And now the first example of a talent, walking out of the club for free because of the success of Ajax an less of a chance of playing (Brobby (by Raiola) to RB Leipzig). Will it be a downwards spiral; or will it become the Dutch Bayern Munich.

This was the first video where I was able to predict the winner before... SD Eibar is an inspiration for all the small and even big clubs around the world
