Good point about multiple browsers. I used Firefox Focus as the default for links to get privacy, but regular Firefox for persistent sessions/usage. Works great.

I do like Brave browser, it being the most secure browser and ability to block ads and trackers. The best thing is KZbin background play but the videos are playing in 16:9 aspect ratio, having annoying black bars to the right & left of screen. I am usung S22 Ultra. Can anyone please tell me how can I zoom in the videos to fit full screen?

What's about the privacy of samsung internet? I've been using it for a long time now, and I love it. But I recently read the terms and conditions and am quite unsure now if I should continue using it. It seems to be extremely safe if you talk about search engines and malware protection, but as I saw, takes a lot of data from you for itself. I would love to hear a statement from someone who knows more.

@@Amit_meena19 I still don't know. But I recommend using firefox with the extension of the startpage search engine. Make sure to go through the settings of firefox (or basically just any app) to make sure it matches the privacy level you want. For everyday use, Microsoft edge is my absolute favourite, it has a lot of features and a very well implemented AI "copilot". I still don't trust it fully though, because Microsoft, but for casual searches it is very good. Both browsers are also available for smartphones. I have plans of moving my samsung internet stuff to those. I'm not too concerned about that browser though, it does its job well, and who can say if it actually has poor privacy?

I use Brave as my primary, but Google Search is undefeated so I have my backup search in Brave to run Google search 😂

Firefox on Android doesn't protect against fingerprinting, and Brave doesn't hide what accounts you're logged into (like Google).

I notice that you don't go into details about the VPNs offered. I would be very suspicious of any free VPN vendor. "If you are not paying, you are the product" is a well known saying. In the case of VPN, that is never acceptable . Personally I am using ExpressVPN , which has both audits and a failed attempt by the Turkish state to seize server logs (there really weren't any!) all of which gives me more confidence, though not absolute.

@@JustinGeekNerd well kiwi gets their version updates very late. So if chrome is in chromium 103, kiwi still might be in 101. Calling it the most secure might not be feasible. But to me, it's the best browser. Just cuz I can use all of my extensions with it.

I love brave, its my current browser and all but the fact that i still can't export my mobile bookmarks is absolutely ridiculous. Unless i happen to have sync with a PC. So if something happens to my phone, my bookmarks are gone.

I generally use Brave for my logged in youtube consumption but google is changing their policies against ad blockers. All chromium based browsers will not be able to block ads, where Firefox will still (for the time being). Not sure how the browser landscape will look in a year or so.

You cant actually fully choose a browser if phone goes through a major corporation. Pine phones are an example of phones that allow you to not have google, but if you just download a different browser. You cant uninstall google browser.

Firefox was developed by Mozilla, it uses an entirely different code base than Chrome or Chromium. It was a completely different internet browser first released in 2004 inversely Google Chrome was first realeased in 2008... It would be pretty crazy to say a browser 4 years older and in development than googles uses google.... lol.
