Great video. I own the BV jodi bag in 3 different sizes. I am obsessed..i am not into logos and love quality so BV is perfect. Its a “if you know you know” type bag. I sold all my logo bags(lv,gucci etc…) but my BV and YSL. I am out of the trend game and these bags -You cant beat the quality for the price!!!❤️

I agree that the LV multi Pochette feels a little cheap but I love mine. So versatile in my opinion. I usually switch the strap to a monogram one and don’t use the coin purse. So it’s more dressy looking.

Chloé is definitely making a comeback with the Woody bag, I just worry that is will be trendy and gone like so many other amazing Chloé bags 🤔 Currently obsessed with the Sac de Jour, Saint Laurent is such an amazing brand and hopefully they will keep it in the collection as classic bag. Just like fashion, some bags will come and go, but the classics are forever!

I really like your style how you mix up your more classic sophisticated clothes and makeup with edgier bags. It’s really nice it’s really playing with fashion and having fun. Since as far I know you don’t have the classic flap but you have the edgier more rock side of the brand with the boy and the 19. This is what fascinates me with Chanel how it’s a fashion house with 2 main sides. The sophisticated elegant which is your Blair Waldorf, Kate Middleton, Audrey Hepburn and the other side is your Serena Vanderwoodsen, Carry Bradshaw, Beyoncé and Britney Spears in her leather Pants from her I love rock and Roll video. It’s a Ying and Yang fashion house.

I’m not a fan of the LV Coussin but the colours are gorgeous and the leather does look amazing. I just don’t think it would be comfortable for me to carry. I’m a huge fan of LV and now am considering the denim Speedy 25 bandolier. I don’t have anything from YSL but do think they are beautiful bags and still “reasonable” for a full leather bag compared to some of the other brands. The Cappucines is beautiful but a little pricey for what I’m willing to pay.

Hi Steph. I think you’re spot-on! I love how you champion the Chanel Business Affinity - I have the medium and it is such a great bag and yet so many people on KZbin don’t like it. I really have no idea why! I also have the Prada re-edition mini tote in quilted nylon which has the big strap and the detachable coin purse - it is so much more functional and useful than the smaller edition bag - it also has a top handle so I use it so much. And I am the biggest fan of the Saint Laurent small Loulou bag 🥰 x

I don't know much about bags specifically but I do know that many women spent money on bright red lipstick during the depression and war. I reckon, when times are hard (like they kind of are now with Covid doing the rounds), women like to prove that they're in control somehow and wearing an expensive, structured, 'means business' bag would be a wise way to go.

I am totally with you on Saint Laurent. Especially given the Chanel price increases, Saint Laurent has definitely gotten a lot more attention, me included. I recently bought a Toy LouLou and I love it. The Fendi First is so beautiful and the leather feels amazing but I’m not sure about the longevity of the design. Great video as always! xx

@@kckgirl182 I‘m really happy with my Toy LouLou. It does go crossbody (especially given that the strap is adjustable) but I‘m more of a shoulder-carry person. It fits a surprising about for how small it is but I wouldn’t go as far as calling it a perfect everyday bag. Sunnies, umbrella or a water bottle certainly don’t fit.

I was waiting for you to mention the Gucci Diana bag! What do you think of it? Gucci is adding more colors, and it seems like it would last the test of time. It’s more classic and not super trendy. It seems like you can wear it several ways, and if you want you can keep the colorful straps on it for a pop of color. I don’t see a lot of reviews on it. But, it’s really cute.

Yes I have seen the video it really did get tangled! The BB version the chain strap doesn’t look long enough to go under the bag so that should solve that problem for the smaller one

Loved the video. You may or may not have heard of the “Telfar” tote but they are very popular because of their low price point/affordability. Also, they fetch more than double the original price on the resale market. I tried to get one and they were sold out while I was waiting in the check-out queue. The Fendi First is a pretty design. However, I do not think this bag will wear well due to the closure being stiff and the “F” being covered in leather. Every time you open the bag you have to take care not to scratch. In general, I try to avoid bags that wrap their hardware in leather because it wears much quicker.

I completely agree with your thought on the Jodie, but only the mini size. I think the new Teen Jodie will be popular this year. This new size, the small and medium sizes are best for functionality The maxi, however, is just not appealing to me. Over time, I think the Jodie style will be seen as one of the highlights of Daniel Lee's brief tenure with BV.

I think most Dior bags must be thought over, both the Bobby and the Caro designs will be phased out like the Diorama. Personally the phallic shape of the Bobby buckle just turned me off so much, and the logo paired with the round shape of the bag looks like a piglet nose 👀👀👀

I agree that the small lou lou is a better buy but the toy is more casual because of the leather strap. So it’s a good option for those who have a very casual wardrobe..it’s also more versatile for that reason as you can dress it up or dress it down :)

I mostly agree on all your picks.About the good ones I disagree a little about the Fendy bag (not sure is gonna be that popular) and the Capucines also makes me doubt.It’s been a while this bag is being pushed as the LV BIrkin and despite it’s been a while I still don’t think people feels that way.Time will tell.I personally like it a lot.It’s so elegant…. The Lou Lou bag is very popular amongst domestic helpers/ nannies here in Asia, it lacks the luxurious feeling, it is more an everyday bag. The Business Affinity bags have such a strong granny vibe.

Don't shoot me but LV quality is terrible, every item I've ever purchased from them I've had problems with and had to take them back to the store for exchanges/repairs etc. Not worth the hype, same as Chanel's quality. Best quality brand for me from my experience is hands down Dior.

Chanel will never get a penny from me. They have nothing but contempt for their customers and their quality control is shite. I already have the bags I want from LV, and I don't like B,K or C.
