No one should be financially investing in another person until they’re married even living together is highly problematic from a legal standpoint at least in the United States!!!! Stop investing in people that you are not tied to in a marriage or common law marriage!!!! people get used that way

Ladies, hold your boundaries but realize they’re yours, not theirs. Men react to actions, not words, so keep that in mind. #1. Tell him you’re looking for commitment when it comes up in conversation, and start your mental timer. Until you’re committed stop giving so much energy to him. If the timer’s up before there’s commitment just let him go gracefully, tell him why, and move on in peace. #2. Let him know if you’re abstaining when it comes up naturally; stop the finger-wagging. No need to be toxic about it. #3. If you don’t know him, don’t go to his place. It’s not safe or smart. #4. Let him know about the level of “monogamy” you’re willing to give and expect. #5. Never, EVER, lend money to a man. Men are here to provide, protect, and lead; a resourceful and competent man would never ask a woman for money.

I felt led in the spirit to say this, having sex before marriage, especially with the one you have connection, the one that God chose for you can be dangerous! I was reading the book of genesis, chapter 3 yesterday and I got a revelation that I never had before. Sex is meant to open our spiritual eyes, that is why when two people that have a connection with a purpose come together they do great things, but if they engage before marriage it can throw them off their purpose... Sex is a spiritual thing and we should stop taking it lightly.

As a man, I feel very strongly about having financial boundaries with women. Paying 100% for dates is one thing. Paying a woman's bills, especially if you're not yet exclusive, is a no go area.

@ChrisW1019 Your boundaries look similar to and possibly exactly the same as mine. As a general rule, if it comes to bills, unless there is an extenuating exception, I want to know what their financial belief systems are if they want money for them. Are they trusting politicians to fix their life? Are they in debt for things they don't need to be in debt for? Are they not spending wisely? Are they enabling people?

If a man is expecting ANYTHING from you for doing nice things "for" you (unless you're paying him back money you owe), RED FLAG. No one should feel like they owe someone something just because the other person decided to do something nice you didn't ask them to in hopes you'd give them want they want in return. Being generous isn't about treating the person like a vending machine hoping to get a prize in return.

First conversation after hello is "How's your relationship with Jesus?". Anything after that is contigent upon the response to that question which will reveal a lot all in that one inquiry....if they are honest. If not, that will be revealed quick too. Love that you mentioned not letting whoever in the home, which IS your sanctuary. I'm 💯 about that pre-screening 👏👏👏

A lot of people claim Christianity in public, but their lives are anything but Christian. Some people mascarade themselves into who they need to be for acceptance, praise, and projecting images. If you want to know who loves Jesus and fears God, take note of what's going on in their personal lives. Married with multiple children born to women other than the spouse during the marriage? Does he have teenage or adult children? How arevthose relationships? Is he a defendant in lawsuits? Why? Is he honest or prone to telling lies, cheating, etc.? You won't be able to answer any of those questions during the first conversation nor simply asking him about his relationship with Jesus.

@enaalexis92 Me either. I do pray about more than one person if I feel like I have options that I need to decide between, but I don't even talk to more than one at the same time.

@amandaroberts6822 6 ай бұрын
I get that, but I also am ready to find my person. Dating multiple people takes the pressure off this one person in front of me being “that person.” It allows me to let men take the lead and decide if they want to take it further and let go of pining for them to contact me. It lets me evaluate who they are from a more logical perspective vs the feeling of getting attention.

I agree and don't let anyone tell you any differently. So many people used to tell me oh that's never going to happen you're never going to find a man who believes that in dating just one woman. Well last year I met my honey and he told me exactly that. He said he didn't believe in dating multiple people at the same time.

See dating is a whole thing now days. This where I am confused or over thinking it. We are monogamous and exclusive but I haven't been given the title and I don't know how to have that conversation. Any advice?❤
@wandacastle482
@wandacastle482 6 ай бұрын
@@latoyahogan8428 There's nothing confusing about it. Actually, it's very simple. You set YOUR standards, and hook up with someone who will meet up to YOUR standards. You don't have to go by anyone elses rules or standards. Llike some men call women 'gold diggers' if she won't date a guy who doesn't have a job. But women must be mindful of who is the best choice for her to date because no type of birth control is 100%, so anytime a woman has sex she may get pregnant. And with that, she should find a man who is financially able to support a baby and her too if she wants to stay home with the baby until the child can talk and tell if the sitter is abusing him or her. So, your best bet is find a man who has his own place (not living with mom, sis, bro or renting a room, etc.), and his own transportation. Men who don't have therre own, will start trying to suck up what you have. Like if momma kicked him out, now he has to live with/off of you. Or if he doesn't have a car, he has to use your car. Get a man with his own, or who has gotten off of his but to get a 2nd or 3rd job.

This is such great and insightful information. I am almost 70 years old and I promise you IF i had known to set these boundaries I would not had wasted so much of my life trying to figure stuff out. I do give myself credit for the last relationship I was in in 2021, I knew immediately he was not as attentive as I needed, I told him so and left him alone, he then pursued me and like a fool i gave in and i cant tell you how much i regret wasting my time in a relationship I knew from the start was lacking in attention to my needs. Even though he did say certain things up front, his actions were ALWAYS confusing. But its my life and i am taking charge and stop ignoring the signs to simply say...No thanks, im worth more

What is hugely beneficial is taking the time to heal and introspect so I could unravel issues and not bring past unresolved ones into the new relationship… I.e. attachment issues. I am aware I am anxiously attached, I know how to identify triggers so my behavior is reflective of how I want to present in the world. I want authentic connection at his soul level.

Love is NOT A FEELING. Like is a feeling, hungry, sad, tired, giddy,...those are feelings. Love is a choice, a decision, an ACTION, not the often misinterpreted, like/lust/selfish want/needy desire people confuse it with. Did Jesus FEEL like he'd enjoy crucification? "Father, if at all possible ,let this cup pass from me. Nevertheless, YOUR will be done." But he DECIDED to heal the men who came for him and surrender His flesh to the ghost.

🙌🏾🔥This whole message is one big confirmation for me. I've been told my boundaries are dramatic. That last point - energies/spirits people carry/bring in your sanctuary, as with sex - exchange of energies. I'm even weary of people I allow in my car. Cleansing these is no walk in the park. They dissappear once you suggest going out than them coming over. Good riddens. I'm at a point where I expect them to dissappear, it's quite a short show 🍿😅 they're quick to spot when you know what to "see" or "hear", especially when you express your boundaries. People dont have the patience of getting to know a person outside walls before exposing the skin behind the knees, let alone praying about and waiting to hear from God where this relationship is concerned, it's foreign to most. Haven't dated in +8 years because people who understand this truth are rare. Thank you for your teaching, baba. Listening to you is like listening to a big brother. I thank God for your feeding.

He seemed normal the first few dates we had , for the exception he was asking a lot of questions and I didn’t pick up at the moment he would be that way of way😅 scary and am glad god protects me ❤

It’s very nice to hear and emotionally stable and intelligent man give advice. Being around so many unhealed ones. After introspection, finding out reasonsI kept repeating the same pattern. Unhealthy boundaries… Just learning and integrating…it’s nice to have your energy, thank you for being you, and leading with true divine masculinity.

You are just…. Amazing. You were meant to spread the message of love and relationships. So happy you’re walking in your purpose because your videos are so invaluable and reaffirms some of my core believes that others have often disagreed with me on. @torigordon8730 Yes. I could almost cry tears of joy because he covered cussing. I am not looking to date or marry a cuss bomb. I believed in no house alone time before marriage before I heard Stephan, but it makes me feel good to have Stephan back me up. I would say that some people would also disagree on some of my core convictions if they knew about them.

Hey Stephan, glad to have seen one your posting again, haven’t had time to follow. In my experience also in all honesty, when you meet the person that’s meant for you, all boundaries are quickly thrown out the window pretty quickly. Boundaries might be a thing the first 3-6 months, after that, you either know or it’s likely a no go.

I Love your advice about being careful about hanging out in situations that don’t make you vulnerable. I am 65 years old single and a Christian and dating for the first time in a long time. I have been Divorced almost 12 years and found someone I like recently,But when I told him I didn’t want to have sex until I got married he got very upset and stopped talking to me about three weeks and then he realized how much he liked me, and so he’s coming back around and being very generous, but he is not used to being in a relationships with women who Don’t let him have sex without marriage, but I have already been in situations where the man I was dating in the past put sexual pressure on me and God woke him up warning him that I was God’s chosen and not to mess with me sexually . That being said I have lost relationships over this boundary. That being said so I appreciate all this advice and what the best way to handle that is I’m going through that right now the getting to know each other stage and it looks like he’s starting to respect my wishes on that area but yes, it’s easy to get vulnerable no matter how old you are because you’re desires can almost override you. Now it’s up to me to make sure that I stick with what I said because I could probably easily convince him to go the other way, but I know better because I’ve already had experiences in that area so I have to check my own self.

Such wise counsel! THANK YOU!!! I really needed the clarification (and "permission" to stand my ground and uphold my personal commitments to myself and my God). I had a very unhealthy upbringing and therefore was taught a lot of very unhealthy things that Jesus has been removing and replacing with His healthy best-practices, so to speak. You have been, and continue to be a big part of this. Again, thank you for your Godly counsel. Blessings to you and yours!

Thank you Stephan, this video has some great insights. I would enjoy watching a video on spiritual boundaries and ways to communicate that effectively to a man. I haven’t been on a date for 8+ years but messed up and was physical with someone 4 years ago. I thank the LORD for Him guiding me close to him since then. I wasn’t close to the LORD before and never talked about the it in relationship so now I would like to be sure I’m well equipped emotionally and spiritually to communicate effectively. 😊 Also, I’m spiritually sensitive so I know I’ll have to be careful who I’m talking with.

Great video! Definitely food for thought! Thank you! I will DEFINITELY keep this video in mind as I'm approaching the dating phase/getting back into the dating scene. I've been really focusing in on the healing process first. I never thought about dating multiple men at the same time. Sounds like a headache to me! LOL. Also as far as the desired communication options/levels there's so many options now (phone calls, text messages, Facetime, in-person, etc.). I'm like "surprise me"! I kinda have mixed feelings about the communication levels. This is what I mean: If I'm dating a man and we're communicating frequently in various modes, various times, etc. that would let me know that I am on his mind and he is thinking about me/vice-versa...which is GREAT! .However, I don't necessarily want to "tell him" when and how to do it because then it would become rote, inauthentic and boring. But once there's true connection...THEN I'll share the blueprint so to speak. Mannn.... this sounds like game-playing but it's not. I hate game-playing. I just want to see if the relationship will evolve naturally. If not, then maybe he's not the one. I hope this makes sense or is understandable?? Last, In regards to spiritual boundaries....I 100% agree with you on that! We have to be SO careful. People carry ALL kinds of spirits. People pretend well. I wish that people would consider that before sleeping around. Thank God for discernment. I'm REAL funny as to who comes inside my house. As a matter of fact, I request a valid/picture ID upon arrival before I let them come in to do repairs/give estimates etc. Sorry not sorry. Shucks...I don't know them.. So I know I'll be even more careful when inviting future dates over.

yk, i realized much too late in life that because I am a woman who believes in trying to live a life of Holiness in Jesus and follow the teachings of The Bible that when I met men who were in Church i actually had a wild expectation that they should first care about me as their Sister in The Lord, then as a Black Sister to them. I wonder where I got that wild idea from but i have been having some very meaningful soul searching conversations with myself and i realize I really had those expectations of men. I struggled with why they approached me like they did, first with church overtones then simple sexual gratification, thats my fault for not setting the appropriate boundaries that I am learning so much about. but where is the chivalry, where is the care about another human being? I never understood that about some men, not all, i did once and twice meet a very wonderful God fearing man...i was just too young to fully understand what we were trying to achieve together...but somewhere in my life this ideal of chivalry for me from any man who approached me was supposed to supersede any of their mess.....almost 70 years old and NOW I GET IT......Sisters, listen to what Stephan is saying, you will save yourself a lifetime of disappointment, trust me, please

Stephan, I like what you said about having someone be on the same page with you about going to God. I have seen women where, I can't find anything morally wrong with them, but I feel like they would trust human logic or tradition over the Holy Spirit, so I don't feel like we would be a good fit.

I agree! We live in a multicultural country! We have different definitions of words and phrases. Communication and listening skills are important to make it work. Invest time to learn about your person. Quality of time is key! Going out to eat, movies, dance, etc… is not enough! Take time to let know each other. We are living in a fast-paced environment and expect everything to happen in a specific time… 3 months 6 months etc... We are unique!!! We do and learn things differently… Communication is key and being open to understanding each other points of view.
