This man turned around and said he couldn't trust me and swept everything under the rug. The next day, while trying to broach the situation, he said it was in the past. Fast forward today, divorce finalized this past October after 30 yrs of marriage and in hell. 30+ yrs with nothing to show for. When I left a yr later, I bought a house and just kept elevating while he's in the same place. No growth. To God be the glory. Begs me every day to take him back. The silent treatment is a PUNISHMENT for you speaking up for yourself, or for saying something negative about him. You're not going to get a healthy relationship and be able to troubleshoot problems to a win-win situation with a childish attitude like that. If they back off, ask about it. If they deny that anything is wrong, then get busier and back off harder. Let them lead the pace. At least this way you are not over-invested in someone who isn't being forthright.

I got into a relationship with an Egyptian and at first it was fantastic he knew how I dressed, he knew my personality and loved me for it, he loved the way I did my makeup. Life was good! I found my dream man....then 2 years later, I can no longer dress the way I wanted, everything was dictated by him, then he'd tell me to tone down my makeup, then tell me don't talk so much in public. Keep my personality for him. I became a shell of myself. I felt alone and lost some friends along the way, I did not even see this coming everything happened a little at a time. I didn't even recognize myself anymore. The judgment I'd get to just wanna wear normal Jeans and a Tshirt, forget shorts, forget leggings, forget bathing suits, forget forget. I tried 2 and a half years then in one second God and I know it was God put a gut feeling into me something was off and I trusted that feeling. I demanded to be taken to the Airport and got on a plane that night and took my power back and now have set boundaries for myself. That night I chose me. What freedom. U can do it, anyone questioning themselves...even if u love a man with everything inside u. If it does not feel right, u arnt growing in a relationship get out! Go no contact, take ur power back! Love to u all

I should have left when I got the silent treatment, along with my intuition telling me something wasn’t right, ignored the red flags and found out he was married with kids….now we have a 2 year old together. Raising a child alone. I will pay attention next time, if there is ever a next time. He is a manipulative, narcissistic, habitual liar, womanizer…just to name a few. I’ve tired to pray for him because something is seriously wrong with him, it is so hard along with forgiving him. I need to so I can heal. I want so badly for him to feel all the hurt, pain and suffering I’ve experienced. If only I had listened to my intuition, I would have saved myself a whole lot of unnecessary stress. I will NEVER allow myself to be treated less than I deserve.

You’re so right I had the same thing happen. I initiated the process of hey are you ok. He said he was ok and nothing after I blocked and deleted him. I’m not doing this with guys. If a guy wants to be in your life he will be in your life no exceptions.

Let me tell you, my ex-husband got some bad advice from his "friends" to continue to say "I'm not saying anything, I'm just listening" when I asked him if we could talk about our problems. I think this video is about him. He eventually left for good and told me that the reason he left is because I didn't care enough about him. 🤷

I told this one person twice about communicating has to be a mutual thing. When he says he was putting everything on me so he could move accordingly. I told him that is not a good idea and it's not I operate. We got together 1 time and had a lot of fun. He said once that he was looking forward to doing it again, however, he left me hanging on the last 3 times we set up time to hang. So, Now I will talk to him candidly when I see him around but I leave it at that. But it's only a matter of time til I won't even do that. I get it when he said he had stuff going on and whatnot and he mentioned not wanting to hurt me (becareful people sometimes do this because they just can't be grown enough to be honest) I can respect honesty but I also feel like if that is the case why we're u in my face to begin with? Honestly I wish him the best though but.... I got stuff to do so I gotta keep it moving

Great video as always Stephan. Thank you for breaking it down. Please do a video (if you havent already) about breaking soul ties with these types of men. Most women actually do know they're being manipulated, but walking away when your self worth has already been flushed down the toilet is very difficult. God bless xx

Silent treatment is a big red flag. No doubt some people have something going on, but if it keeps happening, that’s a big indicator that that person needs to be put in a friend zone.😂. I learned so much from my friends. It’s important to have them.😂. Then again in rare situations someone is busy with a mess and in that case, it’s good that they let you know to not expect anything because what they’re saying is other things are coming first in their life and that has to happen for us as adults sometimes in a relationship can always be first and that’s fine with your life maybe down the road again. Important time and time is important and your own individual time. Balance

My ex was living with me and threatened suicide when I wanted to talk about him getting his own place... so I let him stay until he left me for someone else. I was unemployed at the time and he didn't care if me and our daughter lived or died. I would've never done that to him.

Silent treatment cracks me up. It’s such a bullshit game. I treat dating as a college class. I’m learning so much. I’m currently studying relationships and I have a psychology degree but want to go further into the other portions of relationships after my marriage well almost 30 years failed with a complete con man so my mission is to understand the player. And messing around, maybe might find somebody decent to marry again one day, not holding my breath
