But thank you sincerely from the depths of whatever heart I have left here.😂
@randomstuff-qu7sh4 жыл бұрын
For me, Path of Exile and Poke'mon Black are good comfort games. There's something comforting about spending time with characters that you've spent hours building up, making them that little bit stronger and measuring how much they've grown by how comparatively easily they now take down opponents that used to be troublesome.
@beama04024 жыл бұрын
RDR2! Yes! But specifically, after you rescue Sean but before you rescue Micah because of the atmosphere in camp. For me, returning to camp after a day hunting or exploring or shooting, and hearing a story already being told around the fire, or joining in on a song half-way through has this feeling of realness, of stepping into life with your family after a hard day. So calming.
@martynpotter214 жыл бұрын
Yes, Sabrina, they did an immense job of capturing that atmosphere perfectly 👌 I found myself waking up every morning in camp and starting my day by doing the "chores" and enjoying the conversations in between. Then by about 9am you'd head out for your day's activities, only to come back at the end of it to share stories and sing around the campfire...marvellous!
@thegreatpineapple44254 жыл бұрын
@@martynpotter21 Yep. I have a separate save at the exact point in the story. Horseshoe outlook is my favourite camp. Just like Rob mentioned in the video, I am a sucker for how deliberate and slow everything is in RDR2. Wake up, drink coffee, do some chores, talk with the gang and head out. When I'm not stargazing after a hearty meal, I'm on my way to the camp with some game on my trusty steed Geronimo, my blood bay thoroughbred. ❤
@martynpotter214 жыл бұрын
@@thegreatpineapple4425 yes the pacing is definitely more my style, and it was refreshing really, compared to how most other games are created. I think Rockstar nailed it, in that regards, you played it at a slower and more deliberate pace and it just felt organic. Without getting too cliched, I had an experience rather than I played a video game.
