My sister loves Persona 5, Nier: Automata and Horizon: ZD. Whenever I'd start a new story-driven game, she'd always ask me what's the story about and then 95% of the time lose interest as soon as I finish my first sentence. But those 3, she really likes their story (especially P5's), characters and music (though she doesn't understand why the enemy would wait and let me slowly choose my next move).

As long as you've experienced life I feel like, there's no way you dislike P5 or P5R. They're both just... Like emulate life in almost every way. And characters that are very relatable and amazing.

Maybe I'm dumb, but the puzzles in Portal 2 were a bit much for me even as a seasoned gamer. The characters are great, but the puzzles frustrated me sometimes.

When I lived in the dorm, everyone loved to watch me play any of the GTA titles. They would get high or drunk and sit in and watch. They loved combat, the random stuff, missions, etc. And i was never allowed to skip a cut scene or movie.

Excellent video, and not just because of Rob's sharp new jacket. Unravel 2 is an especially good choice when you've got one player who isn't an avid gamer: at any time, one player can give the other a piggyback ride to circumvent the trickier timing puzzles. Flower, Journey and Abzu are also brilliantly accessible but deeply rewarding.

You should add Octodad to the list! The two player option let’s you pick who controls what limbs. My mother (who hates games) and I played it for a few hours where I controlled the right arm and left leg and my mother controlled the left arm and right leg. It was one of the fondest moments I have with my mother. We were laughing so hard we could barely play it. A great co-op experience!

Quick thing I remembered: there is a time limited puzzle in the witness. It's in the secret ultra-difficult section called the caves, all I'll say, there's another way to connect the cube on top of the mountain. Please stream it.

Romancing Saga Minstrel's Song was that game for my siblings and I. An absolute beautiful but severely underrated game. I've yet to meet anyone else that owns it. Would recommend everyone at PLAYSTATION ACCESS to play it at least once!

Going off the choice driven narrative games, what about games that have a visual novel style? Things like Phoenix Wright and Danganronpa? I say this in question format because no one I'm currently living with even tries to play the same games as me so I'm not sure if they would work. But I feel like games that are basically interactive comics with some mystery solving would be engaging for groups.

im gonna be the last person to say it but, Journey. it's like a gateway drug, every non gamer I've made play it has been left wanting more. It finally helped me get my bf to play all the games I wanted him to experience, like The Last of Us, God of War and he even started bloodborne, all because of how accessible and magical Journey is ! (also, overcooked, limbo/inside and any fighting game (as long as you're both bad at it haha) deserve honourable mentions)
