great work recutting the old stone _ I think the value increased 60-80% - because nobody would pay Top $ for old scratched gem . Also nice settings and the last one is really good both opal and the design. btw. Happy New Year :)

I have seen it only a few times. Often, the miners see severe ginger whisker is present and they don't even save it. But the ones that will get you (if you buy opal) are the subtle ones ... like in this video. Good learning experience.

I had this beautiful opal that I cut, then thought, What do I do with it. So I designed the setting and had my jeweler make it. He did something that I didn’t expect - he made the “cage” large enough to have room to spin inside the cage. It is cool - so I guess you are too
