That intro slapped so hard I almost drove off the road. You two need to make an album together.

As a guitar player of 20 years, I have just started my piano journey because of the content you guys release. Your amazing teaching and explanation make what seemed complex and out of reach much more achievable. I can’t thank you guys enough for being such inspiring individuals!

Great into. I'm having breakfast in a diner and start this episode. Such a great start of the day! I play guitar and trumpet and I "use" piano for study. Love your show.

Not only are you teaching me, you're teaching the algorithm! After watching this I was recommend a video analysing Stevie's "Too High" which they showed the first melody is 6 different chords all Maj7b5's over an E in the bass.

You can find even more if you keep exploring options. Consider sus with b9: you simply do a minor 6 chord built on the flat 7 of your actual chord, instead of a major 6 chord. So key of C would be F minor 6 with a G in the bass. I am convinced you can find every known (played) sound within this system, thus making it easier it integrate into playing.

I can make 5 meals from 1 chicken. It's actually easy - you just wait til she lays 5 meals worth of eggs. That was a fun song, and there isn't really a good copy on youtube. You'd think a classic space aliens visitation song (5 Meals From 1 Chicken) would trend on this fine platform, but there were a couple kinda crappy TBH live versions, and that's it. Hardly a feast. I like 6th chords too, especially guitar voicings like the Django swing people use. It's got a vibe.
