3.35 How can you link to security cameras if you cant download apps? You seem to be saying "you cant show security cameras on this device then you show cameras. Can you give clarity on this ?

Please can you help me? I really want to buy this but I’m disabled and bedridden so can’t get to a store to test it - I need to know, the main reason I want to purchase it is for the idle clock face, ‘Stellar’ under ‘Classic’. Does this device the Echo Show 10, 2nd Gen have that clock face in the home and clock options when it’s idle?

I had no idea that this product existed. Amazon just started in the Netherlands and we can only by the dots on Amazon (they speak English only 🙈). We have a Ring doorbell now and so I found your channel when I was looking for videos about Ring doorbells. Love your channel, you have a new sub!

PIKOLO390 Although I agree with you. I cannot complain much. Why? Because my Doorbell chime is not currently working and if it weren’t for the integration of my Ring Video Doorbell and my Echo devices I would not know when someone rang my bell. I love the fact that all of my Echo devices announces Someone is at the Front Door.

Have you had a problem with Arlo cameras not showing on the Echo Show? Mine works sometimes and buffers a lot. Everything is up to date on firmware and WiFi is strong. Not sure why mine doesn’t work at times.

I don’t use it a lot now that testing for this video is done. But I’d say only 10% of the time it wouldn’t work.

First of all I am a senior citizen...help! Just got my ES. There is a circle with a slash through it in the upper right corner of the screen, what does it mean? It also shows the time in the lower left corner...otherwise a black screen.

Circle with slash through it means mute is activated. Press the button on top of the ES that has the circle with slash though it. Should solve that problem. I believe you need to setup the homescreen otherwise it will be blank.

Hi I was wondering if you know if the Echo Show 5 shares the same power requirement as the Echo Dot 3rd Gen ? Reason being there is a USB cable on Amazon which takes USB 5v and steps it up to 12v you must be using a 2amp or higher USB output for it to work. Something I’m looking at especially now I’ve just got the Show 5 !! Great video love the alarm music but that’s been doing my head in !! 👍

I am looking for a recipe app that works with Echo. I use Paprika to store all of my recipes. It has been around a long time, it has great features, and it improves as devices and operating systems change. Is there anything like that out there or on the horizon? I would buy the Echo Show 8 tomorrow if it would show me MY recipes that are tried, tested, and tweaked - and not random recipes on the Internet. Love your channel.

The sounds on the 2nd generation is not necessarily better. I own 1st gen, and 2nd gen 8":- 1st gen: Speakers on front. Sound very clear and "located". 2nd gen: Speakers on side. Sound has more bass (too much IMHO so it needs reducing), is more spacial, but isn't quite as clear IMHO.

With such good reviews, I recently grabbed the Echo Show + a set of Arlo Ultra cameras and Hub. All worked as advertised until the Arlo hub did a Firmware update [3 weeks ago]. Ever since that update the 'Skill' fails to show live feed when all other elements of the 'skill' work fine. The live feed function is important, clearly. I have spent hours with Amazon techs and Alro techs and still no resolution. Good grief what a RUNAROUND Arlo gives bouncing from one tech' to another to another again and again! Anyone else got similar issues? [Arlo Hub firmware 1.16.2.5_633_62dfaa0]

Why would Netflix help a device which specifically promotes Amazon Video? It's the same reason there's no KZbin integration... Why would Google want to offer functionality on a competitor's device?

Actually your iPad should be able to take commends if you say “Hey Siri”. If it doesn’t work you may need to turn on that feature in Setting> Siri

Steve, that is true... when I say that my home pod speaks to me and most of the time it can’t help me. Seems amazon is more superior in this respect in the home that is. Outside the home Siri is most helpful.
