7 Crops to Plant in July in a GreenStalk Vertical Planter

I have 6 green stalks. I only this year have tried potatoes and squash. The squash I also use the green stalk plant supports for squash. I also am using stakes to keep them more upright. We have been so hot here my green beans are stalling! Love the fall plantings of lettuce, kale, and spinach. I garden in zone 9B, No. Calif.

HELP a new Florida gardener please..... I need a simple to use, printable monthly planting schedule for zone 10a central Florida. Nothing fancy like frost dates or herb and flower charts. Just a veg garden month to month planting schedule so I can figure out what seeds to start each month. Thank you very much I think we were zone 9b last year.

I would suggest that you look at your county’s or state’s cooperation extension service. Ours puts out that information each month on Instagram but I’m sure they have it on their web site as well.

Hi Jill; Patty and I love the videos,great info on food growing. We live in the Catskill mtns of New york (zone 5 ?) we think. Plus at 2000 feet so it's cool in summer and very cold the other months so ,yeah, we 're limited on what we can grow. Garlic is in ,we harvested scapes, from '23 planting and put beets in in may '24 . We bought two small greenhouses from Amazon with those grow boxes for tomatoes and such, we'll see, thanks so much Frank and Patty.
