I was crying with that character, and someone in the Trial said what we were ALL thinking "It wasn't your fault" and I BELIEVE THAT %100, NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCES... It WASN'T their fault, and I just LITERALLY lost ALL respect for a certain character after that Trial. But Kodaka also said in an interview or something ++++END-GAME SPOILER++++ That he wants to make something with Rantaro and how he survived the last killing game,like Danganronpa V2 or something. It will probably be more like a manga adaptation or light novel,who knows. The mystery with him being dragged to the end was pretty cool,like with every Ultimate ???,but I think that he was a pretty wasted first kill,especially because of his interesting story. Funfact btw,before Rantaro entered the V3 killing game and became the Ultimate Survivor,he was actually the Ultimate Adventurer in V2. (MAJOR SPOILERS) When kokichi pretended to be the mastermind and all the characters became lost and empty, and shuichi even almost committed suicide, i felt the same way. i dont know why, it felt like suddenly everything i did in life was pointless and i felt so dead inside because i felt so connected to the characters and immersed in the story. i think that is great storytelling. V3 was the best danganronpa game in my opinion, and one of the best story-based games i've played.

I love DanganRonpa and the fandom is usually alright but the one thing they do that annoys the hell out of me is either 1. Try to act smart and "guess" things that happen when they already freaking know 2. Flat out spoil things 3. Spoil things without realizing they spoiled it (yes that's a thing) I know it's hard for a series that delves so much in mystery to have a fandom that can be tight lipped but my God it's like no one even tries to keep their mouths shut so that others can enjoy the twists as well. Sorry for the rant, that's just my two cents.

I get what you mean, and it REALLY annoys me too, though to be fair, Spike Chunsoft ALWAYS spoils the First Trial's Victim themselves, I won't say how, but still that doesn't mean it's okay to spoil the Games for those who haven't played it. I will say this in regard to trying to act smart & guess, in terms of Victims/Killers, because I predicted Trial 2's Victim (And it was just a guess, I was still shocked by it, as I really liked that character) and there was a Character I predicted would be a Killer, though when, where, how or why I didn't know, but story-wise; I NEVER know what to expect, though if you've played Danganronpa 1 AND 2, you can sorta draw some comparisons. I get where you're coming from nonetheless, it's a fair complaint, I've been trying to actively avoid comment sections, because people these days just don't respect the rule that is NO SPOILERS

Yeah I know what you mean, and I see where you're coming from, when I play these games, I like to predict who will Die and who will Kill, that's it, I don't even TRY to guess to Story Details, because its just so... it's IMPOSSIBLE, it can't be done IMO, these games are created so meticulously, that its impossible or near impossible to predict key points BEFORE touching the game. As you know; I'm at Class Trial 4 and I HONESTLY did not see the Killer being THAT Character, heck I was beginning to feel like that Character MIGHT make it to the end. When it comes to the Story however... I still have next to no clue where they're going with the story, I cannot see, envision or predict how it all ends, or how everything thus far connects. You missed the fact that in the final chapter of the game the mastermind a.k.a. "******" claims that this killing game is the 53rd game which is also where the title V3 comes from. The roman numeral for 5 and then 3 translating to the 53 killing game.

When you click on a Danganronpa V3 video that has no spoiler warning before completing chapter 4 so when you watch it you get spoiled for not only the scrum debate but the culprit too. Also, lemme tell you a little somethin'. That V in the V3 doesn't stand for victory... click read more for spoilers. The V actually stands for the 5, as it is the roman numeral of the number. Put the 5 next to the 3 in V3 and you'll get the number 53. This is explained in the final class trial, when Tsumugi reveals herself as the mastermind and how Danganronpa is just a fictional killing game that has lasted for 53 seasons. Very clever how the creators hid this.
