We’ve been flooded with British videos showing all that sparkly, glittery “Holiday Wear”, but really, no one wears that stuff here in San Francisco and we haven’t for decades, or high heels. The last time I saw a woman actually wear high heels was about 30 years ago, in the early 90s, even though I had a very corporate career. For special occasions, I just wear one of my nice silk dresses that I can wear for many different occasions. I don’t see the point of buying a cheap, uncomfortable, polyester glitter or sequin garment that I will only wear once. I have lots of beautiful, but versatile, clothes I love to wear instead. Your way is better!

I love the outfits! I always dress in this style, I don't like sequins and metallics. And I don't like to buy something to wear it only once. I only add red lips or bold earrings to feel more festive ❤

Great minds think alike Mariola. We have similar coloring and wear the same cool toned neutrals so I put an off white beanie (with a faux fur pom pom) and matching mittens on my Chirstmas list this year. It will brighten up my black, gray, and navy outerwear. Now I know it was a good idea since you are suggesting it :)

Wooow that’s so cool you’ve managed to find the coat and even better - second hand!! I hope you’re gonna love it as much as I love mine😊 The check trousers are size 8 which I believe comes up a little bit bigger, because I’m usually a size 10 at the bottom and as you can see they fit pretty loose. I hope that helps🥰

Too much black and gray for me, but I know many women love them. They just don’t suit me, even strangers ask if I’m “feeling ok?” when I wear them. I’ve had to accept my very pale complexion, I wish others would, too. I only look dirty in tanning products, nor will I ruin my skin baking in the sun or tanning booth. We can’t all look golden-brown, I wish this social expectation would finally die away. As much as I would love to have Cafe Au Lait skin, it’s just never going to happen, wrong DNA.
