Just got a nine day tour with Sunpath last August and we literally had the same ger camps on the first few days! It was pretty great!

Thanks mate. You got it. That was our first drone outing after the Korea test flights. Managed to crash it off the edge of a cardboard box filming the opening scenes. Will be lots more to come from the last six months.

Fantastic trip, not a destination we had considered before but we now might have to add it to our very long list, which is becoming more like a book! Great music and your footage was fantastic, did you colour grade the vlog?
@GoingTheWholeHogg2 жыл бұрын
It is a fascinating place, culturally and because if it’s impressive landscapes. Well worth being on that list. Thanks your kind words. We did do some grading of sorts but it was in the early stages for us so it’s far from perfect. Still, glad you enjoyed it 😃

love the video. can you drive in Mongolia or you need a special pass or driver license? another question is: Do you have LPG installation or you drive by gasoline?
@GoingTheWholeHogg3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Marco! This trip was done as a tour, we weren't driving ourselves. But we met other people driving their own vehicles, so I don't think it's a problem as long as you have the correct paperwork. I think these vans were running on gasoline.

@GoingTheWholeHogg5 жыл бұрын
Sandra Bianconeri nice one, it’s a great trip! We probably spent between 4-6 hours in the van each day but never more than an hour or two between stops so it never felt like a long driving day, which was great. When are you heading to Mongolia?
@sandrabianconeri42725 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the reply! That's not too long. We are planning on going next May. When where you there?
@GoingTheWholeHogg5 жыл бұрын
Sandra Bianconeri yeah the drive times are definitely manageable and of course the scenery along the way keeps you entertained! We were there in July and got pretty good weather. Another blogger couple we follow (The Curious Travel) were just there in May and got some serious snow storms, it looked incredible but super cold of course! Not sure if you’ve seen it already but we wrote up a guide over on our blog with loads of info, might be useful for you! - www.goingthewholehogg.com/budget-gobi-tour/

Man you guys have more guts than I do. I was wondering why no one was wearing masks and then checked the date. Funny how you get used to things, not that I am used to wearing a mask, but one gets use to seeing people wearing them.
@GoingTheWholeHogg3 жыл бұрын
Indeed, this trip was in summer 2018! We'd spent the previous 3 years living in Korea where masks were common place even then, but we never could have predicted we'd be seeing them on people all over the world and wearing them ourselves just a couple of years later.

Lovely work and nice little touch at the end with the aerial shot of bodies spelling Gobi.Probably best to avoid the Welsh town of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch - unless you've LOTS of friends ! Tread the middle path - how about Croydon ?
@GoingTheWholeHogg3 жыл бұрын
Could you imagine trying to coordinate that? It would be a speck in the desert by the time the drone was high enough to fit it all in. Croydon it is.
