Inwatched the Snowbee video first, saw your testing play through and downloaded it. I started playing The Purge with absolutely no clue what to do. Found out quickly, This Is NOT vanilla. This mof has made the game brand new again. 42% cleared in the forest biome, one city has been completly clear and awaiting colonization. So many new things to see, kill and run like hell away from. ❤😂❤ Amazing mod, I recommend it to everyone!

I have played this game alot, and cycle through the mods regularly...your quality-of-life adjustments are just amazing, and the amount of choice you give on how to play the game are without equal. Rebirth is unique. Having played UL(a20), afterlife, and some others. Gotta say, this one is the best all around. Balanced yet hard. Long term progression goals yet not stupid grindy for no reason. Interesting vehicle system. Oh and great FAQs on the discord server, thats something i dont see enough of. Overall a great mod. And the purge scenario is just fantastic change of pace.

@paladin1176 I think faqs are critical especially to any mod that changes from the base game insignificant ways. Having come from other mods as I said where their specific features are what I would call obtuse it definitely was helpful to be able to get a base level understanding very quickly between the faqs and FR videos set up lettuce to truly enjoy this overhaul

Just a quick tip if you play with trader protection off and lootable trader on: the wooden lootable boxes such as near a car, dont use those for storage directly aftr picking them up, but destroy the wood around it so it becomes the inside carton box, because it has more space then tip 2: if you like me planing to make a trader compound your base: BE VERY SURE of where you want to place your own work station. as even though you set traders to be unprotected so you can place stuff there, Rebirth has a code where workstations that come with the POI are indestructible, meaning, if you happen to place a toolbox on the ground within the trader POI, you might not be able to pick it up like normally using a wrench nor able to destroy it. Keep that in mind you can pick up boxes you placed, but be cautious where you want your OWN made work stations placed, as once placed it be there forever.. unless you dig the ground up underneath them, but that will make you lose your station as it falls and breaks.

I have so enjoyed this overhaul so far,, I enjoy both the regular play through and the purge.. it has taken me a bit to learn everything but kudos to you. I Played this game for years and enjoy it and this overhaul just makes it like new again by having to learn all that the game has to offer..

Honestly after playing so many mods for 7DTD I would never ever go back to vanilla. Thanyou Furiuos Ramsey and others for producing one the THE best mods for 7DTD. I can't imagine how long it took and takes to produce a mod like this. Even if you were to charge for this mod I would pay. I know most modders do it for fun and passion for the game. So thank you for this fantastic mod 😊😊

When you say lost...do you mean it got killed? If so, make sure you have a bedroll, it should respawn there. If it was from a disconnect...well then you may be screwed.

Enjoying the mod so far! Purge has been loads of fun. Lots of crazy gameplay surprises too! Especially my first horde that I didnt know could happen in this mode lol. Luckily it came at 3:58 am so i only had to run away for a few seconds. Huge WTF moment loved it! Awesome work!

Hi @Furious Ramsay, got a question about ‘The Purge’ setting/mode - With that most tier 1 POIs & some tier 2 POIs count as made from wood and if you are running the Spreadable Fire MOD, if you choose to burn down a tier 1 or tier 2 POI (not caring for any loot inside) will it still count as clearing the POI?

Is there a recommended difficulty level to start the mod with? I started with nomad, and on day one (in the forest biome) when I passed a POI near the trader and I saw a pair of ferals (that came after me then killed me) and a zombie that was maybe 2-3 times as tall as the other zombies beside it. That type of difficulty seemed harder the last time I played it a couple of years ago in A20 (Or I might just not remember it clearly enough)

It all depends on your playstyle and what you are playing. If you play the Purge, POI Risk is forced to High which means heading into a higher tier POI will increase the difficulty of zombies. Either play normal Rebirth and set POI Risk to low if you want to do higher tier POIs or stick to lower tiers until you are higher level.

I have exceeded 12,000 hours in this game and killing zombies for dozens of hours with the same weapon from the beginning of the game is boring. This is a very good mod for those who are just learning 7d2d and have not yet learned the style of play.

One more question or statement if you will. I am the hunter and have a pipe rifle but the progress to upgrade the weapon is so slow. and the progress of the zombies is so much faster they will get strong before I have a level 2 pipe rifle it seems out of wack to me. How can I keep up with the growth of zombies. can I buy weapons some place?

@@texlougatorbait The only reason zombies would outpace you is if you changed the vanilla xp multiplier, which I talked about in the video. If you feel like the early game is too slow for you, you can use the Jumpstart option in a new playthrough.
