A little thing I don't see mentioned often is the lesser known utilities of the wrench. You can use it on birds nests to get a few extra feathers if you need them for arrows. Another thing is using the wrench on lights (Porch, Ceiling, Industrial, Desk, Open/Business signs) for electrical parts/components, and then using those parts in your workbench to create your own Porch/Ceiling Lights for Science levels, and exorbitant amounts of money. I also disassemble fridges and stoves for electrical components, as I generally play with no loot respawn. Also, brass is one of the few resources you can't find naturally that I've seen (on console, anyways), so I personally like to take brass faucets from the sinks in houses, as well as hoard all of the Brass Trophies and the like from looting, and use it all for bullet casings in the late game. (Forgot to add, really enjoying your content so far, my friend.)

Barbed wire fence or wood log spikes on the hot bar helped me in my survivalist world early game quite a bit!! I'll have to try out the wood hatch trick...easier than a wood frame if you need a quick escape!! Yay beer!!!Show the horde your Irish courage!!

I've never tried the hatch trick, but I like to put iron bars on either side of my door to my base. It creates a nice opening to shoot through. Kneeling down on either side offers an excellent opportunity for headshots. You just need to worry about keeping the door repaired.

You can wrench the Workbenches and pick them up to use somewhere else, they're usually found in Pass 'N Gas's (but not all). And you can wrench the Chemistry Stations too which are found in Strip clubs, these are harder to find because they would be in the middle of nowhere literally. Got a question though, are there any poi's other than Trader Joel's that have Cement mixers in them?

The Dead not Dead trick, when you get killed or if you know that you're gonna die get out by hitting the home/large Xbox button hurry and quit the game. Now wait a bit go back and load that game up. Depending on how quick you've got out of the game you might actually might be on the verge of death. If that happens just get out again and quit as fast as possible. Repeat this until you hear the death sound while the game loads up, wait until the game finally loads and choose the option to spawn on your bed. You won't, you will spawn back where you died and won't be marked as a death. I did this many times and sometimes you might get two or more blue loot death bags giving you double the items you were carrying

Just watched this after watching #3 and then #1(wierd order I know, blame KZbin) I noticed in your first video when using the launcher a zombie climbed up the ladder of your war base, a tip I'd like to give, even if it makes things kinda easy, is to climb up, then break the last 2-3 ladder's, the zombies try to climb up but can't make it so they basically get stuck in a near loop of climbing and falling. If they pile up enough they can maybe climb over each other but it definitely forms a choke point. P.s. for added points, place an upside down L/7 of 3 wood frames over the ladder opening. One block Infront of where the ladder would exit, one on top of that, and then one hanging OVER the open section, crawlers can still maybe get through but it adds to the difficulty while still giving you a hole to aim down.

Great video, I'll keep this in mind next time i play. I used to play this with my friend everyday up till the game started bugging pretty badly. It would always kick him out and it got annoyingly terrible till it literally kicked him as soon as he joined😞

You also want the camel and the hunger one to consume less water and food while active. I strongly suggest getting healthnut. Being as you lose 10 health and stamina upon death. At best you gain +1 to each if eating eggs and bacon or meat stew. Health Healthnut raises your lowest amount of health and stamina. Where 70 is the lowest you may get. Healthnut raises it 10 per level with 5 levels. Plscing you at a minimum of 120 health and stamina. Don't forget to research workbench and chem Station. Steel as well lol love the game

Another important tip is get your Construction up to 40, so you can craft Steel tools like the much needed Steel Pickaxe. To level it up quickly you must FIX things, breaking things down makes it go up slowly so get lots of wood and improve houses and board windows all the time. If you can't sell weapons and other items at the Traders it means they have already have three or more of the same item. If you've read the book for certain guns in which you want to sell you can spit up the parts and sell them individually. For quick money when you first get to the trader break down tires, do this until you have three and sell them. For some reason I think they spawn randomly and they are all over the place. You may want to keep the ones that are in the 500 condition and over

Nope. Wish it did. But when I start a new game I leave the locate trader open until I find at least 3 traders running around the map. Than I'll go to the trader after I found 3 or more and marked them on my map. Than I'll go and know where a couple traders are.

Must be nice to grind even the console version. Everytime I my base ends up getting reset back to what was there previously. Base and all chest, benches were gone. Everything besides my loot on my body and my mini bike.

Because you built a base inside a already existing building or point of interest you have to build your own base

@@powkeybol7853 Nah thats not the issue. Its an issue with the console version that was fixed in the PC version. Its random Chunk resets that return a 16x16 chunk back to its original state. Ive had it happen multiple times when building in a POI, or making my own base in the middle of the woods. Its very very annoying and you lose most of your stuff. Still not certain exactly what causes the game to have this error and reset the area, some think having too many things in one area EI chests, forges, etc. I always have a backup base or spread my stations out more so when it does happen to me, I dont lose it all lol

When your game crashes (which it will) instead of reloading your game press start on the Xbox home screen and go to manage. Then you want to delete the save from the console only. This will then have you load from the cloud, might set you back 15-30 mins but it's better than having your base reset.

Don't scrap hides. When you scrap 2 hides it makes 1 leather. But if you got to recipe's and turn hide into leather it's 1 for 1

Well don't know if you know that you can take pretty much any work station and the forges by hitting them until they are almost broke then use the wrench to get them no need to shout me out I learned that from a different KZbinr years ago and still using it on my Xbox
