The loot bags are half the reason I stopped using hatch hallways in DF. The other half is the big jobs; the titans, behemoths, etc who are wider than 1m or taller than 2m or both. I suggest planning for those to start appearing in either the next horde or the one after. As for the glue, I always go hard on glue production. Collecting all the bones, all the murky water, all the cloth means I can repair stuff before selling it off, making it about twice as valuable on average. You also need duct tape for first aid and paramedic kits, and you need a fuckload of duct tape for the high-end cars and vehicle mods. You do you though.

I will remind you when you are close to crafting those radiation ready mods. Sometimes they can be a little buggy, so make sure they are the last mod you put into armour pieces. Otherwise you may not have 100% radiation protection. You can also just remove the item and put it back on and that usually fixes it.

I think if you are wearing the item and put a new mod in you lose it. The rad ready has to be last. But it doesn't matter if the item is off and got put mods on and put the item on

You can make anti radiation pills to use in the wasteland. I usually use those for my first few trips into the wasteland rather than a hazmat suit. At least that way you can wear armor. I think it is master scientist that gives you that, but I am not playing DF right now to check.

The Anti-Rad meds are by far the best way to go into the wasteland until you can get power armor. The mods lower mobility by like 3% each.

Do you need master scientist to craft those pills? I don't remember if that is a requirement or not, but if you do that's another 10 skill points or if you're lucky just finding the book. Sorry if he's already found it this series. I don't remember if he has.

Yes, the pills and mods are both locked behind master scientist. I prefer the pills. Super easy and cheap to make and they last 15 minutes. I think it’s a nitrate or two and a murky water makes them.

When building those mini forts for the Tier 5 kill quests, place some plates on the front so they have more to beat through without taking up the space of two blocks. Or even use 2 x 1/2 blocks back to back. Loving this series btw. :-)

Glock, bro! You've gotta start wrenching all of the tv monitors/computer monitors you see for electrical parts. Axe all the cardboard boxes, blinds an mannequins for plastic as well. You need them both to make batteries for coil rounds. You gonna need thousands. Also, use your M4 instead of the AK, it's almost as powerful as the coil weapons.

Maxing Parkour for the land mind immunity is a nice peace of mind. The immunity to broken legs and extra jump height are a pretty nice safety net as well.

i believe its 10 for master scientist unless the master books still exist. However, I do believe you still need to have the role/class of scientist unlocked to take advantage of master scientist (requires ink and a writing desk, etc). Also, you may want to make sure you meet the other requirements by hovering over the lock in master scientist as well. Now, a big tip. Darkness Falls doesn't just randomly throw stuff at you post horde night *(morning) It will start one of its wandering hordes (nice work in not triggering that one) AND the range and sensitivity for screamer zombies to hear you is increased during the morning post horde. Quickie tip to test pulse grenades: find building with zoms (they don't have to be awake) Back away out into the middle of the street at least. Throw at outer wall. (acts like contact grenade) listen closely to the sounds it makes after it hits a wall. Do make sure there are zeds in the building. If pain occurs when it goes off, you were too close to the explosion. If you are dead you were WAY too close. :)

master scientist also lets you craft anti-radiation pills that last for 15 min. long as you are careful you dont need the hazmat mods. some times with those mods the % wont show up so you have to take off the gear then re-equip it. you will use a lot of glue in a bit. if i remember the batteries for the coil ammo takes duct tape.. a lot of stuff needs duct tape. good vid

I just killed a whole day going out to Eve and driving between there and the first locked bunker. Still haven't picked up any keycards... Also Also I freakin' hate when stuff gets stuck in the wall, not sure exactly how it happens and I thought it might be the sledge but your jumper wasn't anywhere near your sledge (it also always seems to be jumpers that get stuck). I just leave the area or log out and let them despawn.

you can load your junkie with iron and titanium darts and use 3 of them with max robotic skill. power armor gives rad protection. Also you can upgrade steel again to make it stronger.

The titanium hunting knife is underrated. I use it more often than anything else right now and I'm just a little further along than you. The attack on it is insanely quick, and mine is only lvl 70 for now and knife guy and flury of blows maxed. Mine is at at 133 attacks/minute and stamina useage doesn't go down more than 2pts with constant power attacking. Blessed metal mod, NiCd battery mod, diamond, serrated, temperd blade mods and i can kill the normal demons faster than their health regens. Bigger ones I'll hit them with something to disable the regen then switch to the hunting knife to finish them off. Normal zombies it's usually a one hit kill, and i can stab them 3 or 4 times before they even hit the ground.

Hey Glock you can craft Mastery books. They're expensive as fuck, requiring a class book along with an assload of skill notes, but that way you can save your skillpoints.

While the knife has lower base damage, it has a much faster rate of attack. A Titanium hunting knife with equal mods and level to a Laser Ninja Sword, will actually outperform the Laser Ninja Sword. Even more so with the electricity mod that has a chance to stun with each attack. More attacks per time spent equals more chances of stun. The Laser Ninja Sword does have two advantages, one being that like any laser weapon, it will disable to demon regen, the other being reach. The main drawback of the Titanium Hunting Knife, is of course that it does not have Ninja in it's name. Now, if you could get your hands on a Titanium Laser Ninja Hunting Knife...

You should look into building "Log Spikes" at workbench/metalw they are like other traps but fully upgradable to titanium and just work way better, zonbies will even try to jump up and walk on them wiping themselves out if you build smart, like under your walkway so they fall onto them before running back up

Alternatively there is the anti-radiation pills. Also there is a dart that can be crafted for the junk turrets that's an alternate ammo, turns the turrets into monsters. And pulse gernades can be turned into pulse rockets that at least lets you be far away from the self deletion range of the explosion.

One more thing... If you want to get into wasteland quicker, and not be using the pills, dont worry about making the chest and leg mods, it's easier and cheaper to just wear the hazmat jacket and pants. They don't take up your armor slots, so it doesn't matter much. For some reason, it seems like hazmat stuff drops a lot more in the wasteland, so getting there earlier can be worth it.

Glock, you need to keep rotten flesh, the reason being is because you need a lot of scrap polymer for coil-rounds, and for scrap polymer you can craft it with cornmeal, so take the rotten flesh, make farm plots, and get some cornmeal!!!!!

Unlocking Master Scientist will give you access to Anti Radiation pills. Those block any radiation damage (including the one from the Wasteland) and last for 15 minutes, but don't have a timer on screen so you have to keep that in mind. They're pretty cheap to make, iirc they only cost a muddy water and 100 nitrate powder on the chemstation. This is the fastest way to check out the Wasteland, and it's plenty of time to find the trader to buy your first laser workbench and mine some titanium/uranium/plutonium. Also, on the top left of your inventory you have the option to lock inventory slots (the number/left/right arrow thing). That means that when you click the "deposit everything/all that matches" buttons, those won't be affected, which is pretty handy for dropping loot into chests without messing your setup/ammo/medical supplies. Trust me, once you use it you will never go back. There's a mod that makes it available on Vanilla too.

I had the exact same problem with loot bags on horde night! I had a raised corridor that was 3 wide so I took out the floor and put in poles so the bags would drop through. Took a lot of time to redo the entire floor but it was worth it long term. Dunno how you would fix that with a single block path on ground level.
