I like it too, but he may also prefer to stay in vanilla for most cases. Probably screws with things and people that just like to see general gameplay/playthrus. Personally though, I'd love to see a Darkness Falls series next to each vanilla series bc of the differences, but that's all up to him.

Yeah vanilla seems really dull by comparison. The variety of enemies, POIs, not to mention the loot, all combine to make it a better watch: I'm watching Get Wrecked right now & it's had quality moments for sure, but the overall context is letting those moments down.

Not sure if you knew this, but your health isn't moving because you have a perk that gives you health every time you hit with the sword. I think it has something to do with knife guy

For the rads, you can now make the anti-radiation pills as a master scientist.

The DF gods are jokesters with giving you the Science Mastery as soon as you craft one... Take the lights above each container door in Rick's compound for electrical parts. Take the coolers like the one on the table in the military camp for plastic parts, take the window blinds for plastic parts. Also those usually useless stacks of boxes will give you plastics too, not too time consuming when you can one-shot them. Those rectangular florescent lights will give you both plastics and electrical parts. The "fake" air conditioners will give you electrical parts also, more than you might think. You can also make plastics from corn and super corn. Anti-rad pills take only nitrate and water (I believe murky water) and they do protect against radiation as well as cure radiation poisoning. Love the sword work!

glock fast way to get electric parts is by taking apart the flat wires that attaches to electrical boxes if im not mistaken if not just find a moe power

you can also make anti radiation pills instead of making hazmat mods, much faster and cheaper but make a few of them because they only last 10-15mins. Also now that your 75 you can make technology now books using the red research notes, they begin to unlock the laser weaponry and power armor

few tips: do tier 1/2 quests for a trader (until they're 30 rep) they'll sell their respective mastery books (check discord faq for who has which) for 100k ea. make a dedicated metal work bench to craft electrical parts, its way faster than harvesting them basic 7.62 (mk2 turrets, you'll need these for succubi on horde nights) and shotgun (msgtporkins shotgun) are always useful. open any 9mm and magnum ammo (I wouldn't buy them any more, you will get boxes of them from looting) scrapping tips is 1.5 lead per tip(scrap while in your workbench to offload it to the wb queue) - AP tips take 1 iron and 1 lead, so its very helpful to not have to go mine lead make a farm for corn, cornmeal and murky water in a chem station you can craft scrap polymer (you will need to craft coil rounds) (make AP coil rounds) one to two more metal workstations for coilbatteries and ammo crafting is really helpful if you want to craft regular ammo, make AP ammo (ie for smg, which is good into the endgame - make a brass catcher, this will be essential as brass becomes really hard to come by - cant smelt dukes in DF) you'll probably want to stop scrapping springs as they're 5 steel per spring to craft, and pretty useful

I don’t want to armchair game and tell you things but... You do great. Highly entertaining. Super funny. Always makes my day to watch an episode. I don’t think you’ll be challenged until fireball demons and behemoths. You don’t take damage from the zombies but you are getting rebuffs which effect wellness. So be aware. Take your vitamins and eat tasty foods. :) Anti rad pill is vastly superior to hazmat mods.

put all your points into the crafting perks. You can reduce the crafting time for everything a lot. For ex. forge 600 forge steal in about 10 min. It really pays off.

Hey Glock, Eve's bunkers that you went to are LOADED with electrical parts. I got between 1k and 2k there. Also, you should start growing some corn and get "sinks for dumbshits". That will allow you to make unlimited polymers. Finally, there is a perk, I think it's "do it yourself" which allows you to make your own mechanic and electrical parts. Everything you need for coil weapon ammo.

If (when) you're looking for polymers, those venetian blinds you see in windows all over the place are made of them, so are cardboard boxes (I don't know either ...), and school desks. Plus you can make it, pretty sure you need a good corn plantation going on. You can also make electrical (and mechanical) parts, it's one of the crafting perks.

Next time you come across a water purifier mod put it in your helmet so you'll have plenty of water for the demon attacks, considering that you'll be able to keep a ton of murky water on you. Also scrap all the military armor you can, you'll want as much military fiber as you can get for power armor. Feel the heat mod can go on SMG's as well.

Blinds are excellent sources of Scrap Polymers. Probably the best if you find an office building full of them. There is a mod that puts crowbars in vanilla. It also adds katanas and a few other melee type weapons, but nothing super OP like your laser ninja sword.

So science crafting is good when it unlocks tier 2 and 3 mods... Tier 3 mods are things like rad removers and blessed metal... If you up your rep with trader Jen you can buy science crafting, Joel sells gun crafting and 2 masteries (survivalist and security), Rekt sells armor crafting and farmer mastery... If you want more polymers you can make them in the chemistry station with cornmeal and water... That's why farming is important in darkness falls...

If you have the dukes and reputation with each trader they can teach you masteries (similar to teaching skills and schematics), but only if you have like 100k dukes in inventory when you talk to them, or they wont offer it.

You need to get rid of all the normal ammo and switch to coil ammo. Like you said the normal stuff doesn’t do anything especially against the Desmond you will be going up against in the later missions. You will need the sword to stop there health regeneration and the coil guns to kill them.

If you are really looking for electrical parts go back to the bunker eve sent you to. You will get a massive amount of electrical parts for all the consoles down there. Just be careful, screamers... You also could have scrapped the mastery book for a good few skill more pages. If you want a challenge up the difficulty level. I wouldn't get too cocky, there is still stuff you haven't seen yet 😂
