Hell, I’d pay $100 for 1.0 on the newer consoles. For the last few years I’ve been on PC, but at heart I’ve always been a console player. As much as I play, I’m definitely getting my moneys worth. I still prefer the Navesgane map. I like seeing the changes and the things that haven’t changed. I’m wondering if they’re going to swap Joel’s and Rekt’s location on the map. I’ll play on PC until it drops on console, then I’ll have to play both until cross platform releases because I have friends that are on one or the other, not both like me.

I’m tired of people complaining about rebuying the full release… first off.. it was 25 dollars for the initial purchase, second.. I played the old console release for over 100 hours so I got my worth out of it.. AND third.. I considered that purchase as a support for a group of devs that deserved it! What effort, barely one update every 18 months, full release missing key features, over 10 years to make and finish a game, no updates for console for 7 years, and best they could do is 25% discount, lots of preorder games offer 10 to 30% now days, and you might have paid 25 bucks but original price was 29.99,so people are now paying 65 dollars. Don’t understand how people are whining about console players needing to buy the game again, as a console player myself, it is understandable why, the updated version will have so much new content, and the whole telltale situation was not their fault. The fact that it’s only 45$ (34$) if you have the old one, that is pretty cheap, for games nowadays, and especially one where you get a lot more content. Completely understandable. And not to forget, there’s plenty of replay ability on the game, so it isn’t a game you would play once and never play again, as it will keep getting updates you don’t need to pay for. maybe take yaself out of ya bubble, 1. people dont have the capital to buy upfront, pc actually good one costs 3 to 4 times more then a console. 2. consoles being closed platforms comparitivly are often better for kids and family use so young timmy isnt surfing web looking at stuff he shouldnt, yeah theres parental controls for everything but its stil much easier for familys having console to move around house not to mention teh usual desk setup monitors speakers and more for pc needed, sure steam has big screen mode nowdays but most still play pc on desks 3. maintaining a pc is hard work at times people who work long jobs want to come home and just play, not download 20 apps or learn to take a part a pc to fix stuff 4. its only in last couple years we have seen xbox and now ps games start to arrive on pc, some of teh greatest games of all time have been console exclsuive, sure it works other way for indie titles and pc hits but pc gaming has grown in last 15 years before that it was considered much less relevant then consoles

I got the game back when it first came out I payed 10 bucks to a friend that was selling it. Then I got a ps5 bought it again on the plus for a discount of 10-15 i don’t remember. Still playing the old version. The new version or update what ever u wanna call it. Is a completely different game. Even renamed as 7 days to die console edition. The game doesn’t resemble the old version. New zombie vehicles, pois, maps, ect… all completely different. It’s like a brand new game. On top of that you don’t gotta pay for the updates. Like destiny 2 can’t even play it with out buying the dlcs. That cost more than the dang game. I got the game free and every dlc was 30+. Definitely not justified since the game never got updates it needed. And the bug fixes were never fixed. It’s still a unstable game. But never the less. 7dtdcv will be lit. Just give it about 2 months. And the game will drop to 15 at Walmart. Always does.

It would be like if u have a school essay come up instead of redoing your version you copy someone else’s version and put your ideas in to it and beating around the bush. But nothing is the same. I think the price is justified considering it doesn't even resemble the old console version I just dont know if ill buy it since I can't play couch co op the fun for me is playing this game on the couch with my partner and the fact we can't do that is a little disappointing.

It's absolutely NOT justified. Resemble or not, it's the same game. You're being sold an update, not even a dlc. This whole thing was *their* blunder, not ours. Yet, they expect us to pay again? Nah. That's a moron trap if I've ever seen one. They can take their discount and stick it where the sun doesn't shine. Yarhar~
