you can, but remember, for the first timer, the hub city has a lot of tougher hordes ;) But if you're good enough, np!

hub city hordes have dogs, cops spiders and hornets, the smaller cities do not ;) you'll spend more time avoiding them, than building :P

in alpha 15 they changed the spawning. we have not been told of any rebalances on console, but it is possible they are introduced earlier now. OR you are in a hub city and left animal carcasses around

Skippy0330 I'm held up in a cabin that I've started fortifying in the middle of a forest biom. Would that be considered a poi? And that's why they're attacking? I'm never able to actually find a city ... Well intact. The only times I've made it to 00 it's always a destroyed city with packs of dogs patrolling it.

yes thats a poi = point of interest. homes and poi's and stuff spawn in zombies naturally. if you're looking to be left alone, build a permanent base away from poi's. or if you wish to be attacked often, build in the hub!

Nice guide. I know some people are put off by the graphics and the game being somewhat clunky and funny looking sometimes but it has so much depth it's crazy. I highly recommend it.

You can also build a wood leaders but the last one one bottom do not place it or broke it the zombies will not climb that way and you just have to jump and get on it

In navesgane you NEED to avoid cities due to dogs and cops especially gravestowne and perishton, but in random gen you can hit up every city except major 0,0 wasteland cities

Subscribed because you have been a tremendous help. Most titles are misleading in the fact of tutorial or help, most people goof off or have an act to gain attention. I have tried two times already to play the game(two separate worlds, technically restarts)...now I'm looking for help lol. Firstly because the second time I got around pretty good, built my house out of scratch and was getting by, I lived in the forest by a lake 😁. Made it to day 7 trapped inside my wooden house, it way pretty rough. Doubled up and put cobblestone frames outside the wood interior. built a trench and then day 14 hit...finished it right before it hit...and guess what zombies can dig lol...who knew. they tumbled through my trench and started working on digging up. So if you dig down, consider another barrier, basement? IDK it's been a fun experience learning on my own...but being a game I've never played and being as extensive as it is, it's good to know what I'm up against
