The thing that stuck out most to me was the cop puke it looks so much better and real in the trailer not just a green blob. Also the trader taking with his hands is a nice touch not just staring at you with a blank expression like he is dead inside 😂

@@dannydaye9449 I think Rekt just wants to be left alone but was forced into being a trader maybe? I hope when the devs add the story they give some back story on why he is so bitter. Maybe his family was murdered by an adventurer like your character and that is why his disposition is so bad towards the player. That is the back story I give him when I play so I don't want to shoot him in the face with a shotgun like everyone else 😂

Also I have modified the game files to make rekt's disposition towards the player is neutral instead of hate and they have recorded dialog with the voice actor that is similar to Hughes dialog so I hope the trader progression makes it where you can make Rekt be more friendly towards you in the future.

I thought they would have fleshed out a lot of the story when they were working with Telltale, literally the story game guys....not to be I guess. I hope they "liberally borrow" that attitude is affected by level idea. nice one

That trailer's pretty good. It really showcases every aspect of the game and what players can expect. But... is it just me or does the game's graphics look better in the trailer than the actual game? Are they improving the graphics further from A21? That lighting and zombie decapitation looked really good! On top of the game running smoothly.

I did notice that as well. While the crispness etc is usually due to a high end PC, but the decap and such looked improved I agree!

2 things they need to do. make the Zombie models as good as the new Character models. and if they are adding thoe amor sets they should convert all the Clothings are armor mods so people can wear what ever cloths they want

It's funny. They already redid the zombie models twice now, and by the time the game goes gold, they just look outdated again. I honestly think they look good, and in line with the rest of the game.

Yeah, as someone commented on your comment already, they've been redone. The problem with a 12 year old game is that with so slow updates it all looks dated by the time you get another version :P

I would say the capabilities of the game is real, however it's not gameplay in the sense that not being staged. Usually gameplay does not include staged setups, but just "what you see when playing it" ... even though 7dtd in the sense allows you to stage it yourself freely too :)

please do not distract these guys...that shiny new thing mentality is why the game is not finished...TFP have to follow a strict timeline (for the first time ever) just to follow thru on the promised roadmap.

What they should have done, is have telltale years back launch the game as SOMETHING ELSE other than 7 days to die. Call it Zombie Apocalypse or something, then people would have not been in the situation of having a legacy 7dtd and having to buy a new version.

@@Vedui42 Well I think the thing that really got me the most was the green screen nuke effect at the beginning. I don't remember there ever being a mention of a nuke going off, it just feels like they threw that in for no real reason other than dramatic effect. Not to mention that the effect itself is pretty poorly slapped in there.

Yes. A gameplay trailer has to be 100 % gameplay. Otherwise it's not a gameplay trailer. It CAN include cut-scenes, although that's somewhat controversial as well. So inclusion of the nuke and dust cloud since it's NOT part of the game renders it ... well, less of a gameplay trailer :)
