I personally LOVE the direction this series has gone. Trapped inside is awesome, and you still feel trapped inside in a sense that you can only go to surrounding POI's as a means of resources. Love it!!!

It is really emersive if you think of it. Trapped inside a hospital. The very earth is saturated with the virus so you have to find ways around. Eventually you run out of supplies in the hospital and have to venture out. Your limited exposure to soil in the hospital courtyard has started an infection... cure or die trying.

@@Imae08Inot sure why you say it’s not as good for clearing poi’s, it’s great using doors as choke points and being able to poke them through door holes. Different strategies for sure vs club but I’ve found both work great.

I started off playing your series with a horde every 3 days, but after day 6 I changed it to Horde every two nights, and after I live through a horde I unlock a "Chunk" aka a house or building that connects to ones I've already locked , its been fun

im not 100% sure but i think there is a mod that adds wandering hordes. would be nice to have them while trapped inside, maybe if u ever make a 2nd series u can do wandering hordes + higher loot bag drops should help keep things going.

Yes, i use wandering hordes mod for my world, it basically hell if you play in higher difficulties, sometimes it give you 3-4 waves of hordes.

Series idea: Patient Zero A mod that adds +0.1% infection every hour if not infected, so you're essentially ALWAYS infected. Horde every 3 days I think that would make you want to take more advantage of the night time rather than just sleep it over or go mining.

Noticed in last episode after you looted a poi you picked up your bridge and built toward the next house. Wouldn’t it be more efficient to build to a house and then use that house as the next bridge point? Like build off the back or side to the next nearest house. After a few episodes you would have a vast network of bridges spanning all around the town.

The forge will make many things easier. Especially when you can get iron hatches and a claw hammer for faster repair. Maybe you should note done when you looted which POI because of the reloot/respawn since when you go into that POI 30 days later then you will have radiated zeds in there:-)

Hi glock I suggest you put frames on the ladder area so that youll have a shooting position. You can use the forge to craft bars or upgrade wooden bars to cobblestones. Also I played and did knife and bowman build its super effective in horde day.

Not in A21 - when they got rid of empty glass jars they also inflated every cloth recipe, for example duct tape is 10 cloth (increase from 1 cloth) and 1 glue, and armor is now 50 cloth fragments (increase from 8) plus one duct tape! (60 cloth total)

You should totally do a mole man series, the only rule is you can't go outside. Except for spawning, you get one day to get anything from the outside. Saplings, fibers, feathers, ect. Once day sets - you can't leave. However you can tunnel to nearby buildings and pois.

DUDE on spears, I understand throwing them Felt FUN, Really would of loved to have a Javelin item was made like arrows, that stacked to like 10-20 of them and you could retrieve them. KEY notes here: 1. In current inventory setup, IT WOULD NEED TO STACK to be worth anything. 2. They would need to be somewhat cheap and or easy to make, (any stronger tiers would need to be using resources like spear parts to make a dozen or so, as those parts do tend to either stack up or be ignored late game.) 3. Be pretty High in damage, and get bonus dismember chance at higher tier versions, to just Compete with guns/bow even. 4. The spear throw sucked, bad, like super super bad. I did a test, especially on harder difficulties, even if the spear THROW instant killed any zombie it hit, this was a bad weapon and performed very poorly. THIS IS WITH USING INSTANT KILL! At higher tier Spears, throwing became more a liability for several reasons, most important two. High cost of spear and you could be forced away from it/ have no melee weapon now. Second reason, buggy retrieval, where the spear was not able to be picked up after thrown. In base vanilla game, the spear did not instant kill on every throw, as such it sucked worse then the modification I mentioned above. simple math/story Spear throw=bad in base vanilla before the change ***Better idea then original spear*** If you want a good spear throwing in game, make a javelin item, stacking 10-20 (needs testing on stack size), thats cheapish to make (more then arrows but not by much) likely be 3 tiers, Stone, metal, and steel. Use a Quiver as Base item for Game Mechanic reasons/ you will understand why as you read. Special weapon item to work with in game mechanics/items. So you don't have to make a new system of stuff. Even at Zero in stack its a Quiver item in inventory, that can be modified, this way you can put on weapon buffs and Not loose them from out of ammo/javelins. Plus you can use paint and such. This way a Quality can be given like weapons have 1-6. Please note you can have it have a Durability like a weapon and when the durability reaches zero, it stops giving weapon mods to thrown Javelins. So there is a benefit to the Quiver and you can still throw without it by directly putting the ammo in your bar. Mods available to use This is bladed so all bladed mods, Diamond, Serrated, Tempered (still exclusive to each other) Fortifying Grip, Ergonomic Grip, Structural Brace mod, The Hunter mod, Rad Remover mod, Weighted Head, Burning shaft, Any of the Damage too block type mods. Heck even the Cripple em mod is an OK idea. Do not know how that would translate in Melee tho X-D By golly you could even argue for the flash light mod work as you hold it in the other hand or such. I even have an idea for the Stun Baton Repulsor mod working when you read a book of the series. (with a cost see book idea) I also make it have like an 20% break chance on stone, reduced by 5 per Tier making steel ones break at 10% of the time. This is for balancing and the Shaft breaking idea mostly. (Yes you can melee with them, Same Break chance) The real question is Perception or Strength tree? or crazy idea Both! Though that is a whole other idea/wild thought. Likely have a mag series, of Olympic Treats Magazine: 1 ---- 5% Reduced chance to break, You can use the 'stun baton Repulsor' mod on Quiver at double durability lost each use. 25% chance Repulsor mod works on each hit/throw. (this is cool right?) 2 ----25-50% chance to pierce target, based on throw wind up charge, at least 50% charge (full pull back throw, gets 30%) Second Target hit when pierced receives half the damage the first did, and half the dismemberment chance. 3 ----When used in melee, if Javelin breaks on hit of target, cause 2-3 levels of bleed effect to target. 4 ----When used in melee or thrown, 10% chance to bleed on hit to target. 5 ----Increase stack size by 5 (no not a percent due to math reasons of per throw) 6 ---increase Quiver Durability by 50% 7 ----Bulk Ammo reciepes (standard 20% discount of costs) Series completion, 20% chance to knock down opponents on hit, while throwing At full Draw 10% Armor penetration this took me all of like 45 minutes to come up with, and it would be an amazing weapon mod. But again OLD vanilla spear with thrown, was BAD, awful, and terrible. Have I made this clear?

The twisted side of me really wanted the infection to take over clock in the last episode just to hear how lock role plays that out but at the same time I am glad this series was able to continue.

The infection made this series very exciting & thrilling. What do you think about another series for the future, called "Chronic infection", in which you start already infected and you can't completely cure the infection (max up to 0.1% or higher if you want more challenge), you constantly have to venture out and look for antibiotics? You would win if you were able to craft a gyro and fly out before infection killed you. Should be quite challenging, knowing that antibiotics are a pretty rare find. After you manage to get the chem station going, you might be able to cook those but moldy sandwich is also a finite resource, albeit much more common. Loot respawn would need to be off, you couldn't use honey to reduce your infection % and no traders. It somewhat fits into 7d2d lore as well - infection makes you a zombie after several days & you have to constantly keep it in check. After you craft the gyro, you will fly out to the other city, hoping to find a permanent cure. Most people, as you see on the streets, didn't manage to get a permanent cure in time.

I have the mega loot bag mod that I have modified to 35%, 65%, and 90% depending upon the type of zombie. I can email you the modified version if you'd prefer those %'s over either 20 or 99. Big fan of yours and I can't believe that I wasn't subbed. I'm running loot bags only with the modified file. I am not looting anything or harvesting anything. Tho I feel if you can't find antibiotics before the hoard night next episode you should allow yourself to give yourself 4-6 antibiotics but as a sacrifice you must at least do the first half hoard fight with only melee . If you fail you must sacrifice your blood (20-40 HP) to the fire gods lol. 😂😂 anyhow wish this series doesn't come to an end but the next one with %99 loobag drops and only looting from lootbags can be the new lucky looter series lolol.

NGL, I liked the throwable spears too, but I wouldn't say that it's "lame" without. It just makes more sense for a melee weapon to not randomly yeet itself across the map when you're fighting zeds, coz one's finger slipped... However, I do wish the throwable spears made a comeback. Was hoping they would split the two, s owe could have spear as a melee weapon, and throwable javelins as a separate item. |Still hoping they will do this, but I may up making a mod that adds them myself at some point.

Really to max living off the land to increase harvest on your crops so you can end up with a surplus. I think you got enough points in fortitude now once the infection wears off.

Maybe you could do a reverse of this series. Outside for like 3 or 7 days, and THEN trapped inside. That would allow a lot of resource gatheriing and such, and give a different feel. 😁😁
