@@Thinchap maybe I'm weird but I like playing 7 days while having someone else playing a totally different style of playthrough on at the same time usually jawoodle who is the one who got me to even download the game and play it (used to be so terrified of zombies it took me three months to finally try a genuine run at the game, which ended on day 21 when I fell out of my base and a horde of dogs spawn next to me I tried to take them on with a tier 2 pistol and no mods on it. I ended up killing them all but then bled out right as the last one died. And I was convinced the game woulf only ever be fun if I played permadeath and so far only 4 deaths in 2000 hours of the game so I guess that's how I like to play)

@Thinchap I play on nomad difficulty and mostly play extreme stealth the times I died were two on horde nights one using a hunting rifle as my oh shit gun on a tier 4 infestation and once again bled out I should die some more to get those steam achievements I think I will take on this challenge and make content from it you've inspired me

The first buried stash quest always gives you murky water, sham sandwhich, and rotten flesh. Ealry on, I would keep a little wood, stone, and bones on you for weapon and tool repairs. Knife build suck at first, but they quickly become one of the best when you get the hunting knife or the machete. Keep in mind that agility builds work best with sneaking, a problem that Glock 9 had issues with.

@usarmysniper682006 yeah, for some reason I thought the first buried treasure was a little better than that! I've got a feeling ill probably have similar problems with sneaking that Glock did lol. Although, I've always gone for a sneak build on Skyrim...

@@Thinchap stealth was *heavily* nerfed in 1.1 as well, so you won't be running an unkillable invisible ghost build like you could in 1.0, but it is still decent for initiating fights or minimizing the chaos in POI's. Make sure you've got a solid backup for when shit hits the fan and you have no chance of regaining stealth.

This series looks cool, permadeath is a brave choice. Been thinking of trying that out but this game has a tendency to catch you unaware. Like spawning in a dire wolf on you the first week.

You might be better off to create 'home base' on top of a two story building (that has access only to you). Get get boxes up off the ground and high on a wall. It's a good start! Good luck.

What cool POI, it would make a nice starter base. I'm not sure if you can or not, but you should increase your land claim block size to help reduce zombies spawning in your base.

sometimes the tier 1 quests are bugged with no way to initiate the quest if you manage to find Jen that is...pretty good map though I did the Joke Mod in this map in alpha 21 in a mini series on my channel right before 1.0

Lucky looter is useless focus agi with little bit of int- Like workbench and lock picks, also one in pýši Ian is also great value. So why is LL so bad? It is percent base of your loot stage. So early it does nothing valuable. Only minor bonus is faster looting. Better setup is-get work bench and lockpics around tíme when you start see better tier weapons go loot police cars.Hi chance for good weapons and ammo.Even when you cannot craft lockpicks yet, its still yousefull because you find more in loot and you can hoard them. Also great is that when you háve stack you are able open any safe you find and that locked chest from lvl3 poi.

I only ever bang 1 point into lucky looter, I've never done the maths on it but anecdotally it always feels like I suddenly start getting the stuff I need. The Int stuff is part of my standard routine anyway so will be coming asap :)

I would recommend not scraping the rollie chairs because you can wrench them for mechanical parts

If you scrap the office chair in your bag you get 6 Leather, if you wrench it you get 1-2 mechanical part, 1-2 leather, and some scrap iron. If you've got a wrench already you can get 10-20 mechanical parts from a car.... I generally find I'm hard up for leather early on but once I've got a wrench I'm NEVER short on mechanical parts.

There's 2 different mods, make sure you install the main one, the other is optional underground POIs. Remove what you've put in, and make sure you follow the instructions on the page. I think the main mod just goes into your maps folder, not the mod folder

Like once you have iron crossbow a non pipe gun and an iron melee weapon your are good the rest comes so fast no need to MinMax when you have maxed out books for your weapons and guns by day 35 in a series that goes for 49-70 the last half the game becomes pointless now with crafting tier6 weapons.

@bloodshotgamer3532 I've lowered my look speed since. It's just the way I've always played, but I am trying to reign it in a little. There's not much I can about the framerate, it's a resource intensive map and I can't afford a new PC yet :)
