Congrats on getting your idea chosen, that is pretty cool. It Is sick though what Antm did to Kahlen. They did a similar shoot when Jael lost one of her friends :( There is drama, and then there is crossing the line and they overextended themselves Waay over that line.

They had no way of knowing this girl's friend was going to pass away. These photo shoots are planned weeks/months in advance. And yes it was heartbreaking what happened to Kahlen. But modeling is a business, and while the client may empathize, the bottom line is, they have a business to run. Photo shoots cost money. Personally, I think they all, especially Kahlen, handled it in the best way possible. From the girls quietly explaining to Jay that Kahlen had found out about her friend's passing the night before, to Jay giving her that extra time to pull her self together. Kahlen for KEEPING it together and trying to push through it, all the way to Tyra sparing her feelings in panel. They all seemed to understand what a monumental issue it was to deal with, and they were all compassionate about it. Which also shows that the modeling agency can be compassionate, too.

I actually asked Brandy (who was eliminated in the 3rd week) how she would have felt doing this photo shoot since she is a strong Christian. She said she was unsure but definitely would have had some inner conflicts/moral questions about it. As a Catholic I don’t think I could have done this photo shoot either.

God how can everyone say how great this was with the sick death theme, the moaning of the creepy older photographer during 'Lust' and the degrading treatment of 'Gluttony' lieing on bacon fat, sauce and food while even the crew laughed at how gross it was...this show gaslighted and mentally abused the contestants (and look they weren't always great either but were deliberately chosen or planted (e.g Jade and Monique...no one could be tgst unbearably annoying and narcissistic without being put there frankly).

I must say as a catholic I don't think i could've done this photo shoot if I was on the show. I would've been very uncomfortable intentionally portraying a deadly sin. I know that a few of the girls in this cycle who were eliminated before this photoshoot where Christian or Catholic and I wonder if they would've said no to doing this shoot?
