My Dad use to make it when I was a kid. It was always the best. He was a Chef. He's gone now . But this brought back memories. So thank you for that. Now I was to make some lol.

I like the soft Christmas music. So relaxing. Have you ever made Christmas Crack? It is one of my favorites and so easy. 😌☺️

Ok, your ideas were great. I used to make candy 🍬 for Christmas, but I'm disabled now and can't do it . I didn't think about making it using the microwave, though.

Ok, this may be a dumb question. Is that digital actually registering the liquid in the pot or is it registering the bottom of the pot? Because the laser is maybe hitting the bottom.🤷♀️

You must love green kitchens lol. Your old house the kitchen was green, correct?! 😂 I used to have a green kitchen about 20 years ago. It hid the tobacco stains from the previous owners! 😊

Your vanilla beans can probably make another half a batch of vanilla, just till halfway with alcohol

Have you done a video of your caramel candy recipe?

Doesn’t vanilla burn off when still cooking? Isn’t it supposed to be added after you take it off the fire?

This comment is by no means meant as sarcastic....but.....after making 1,000's of bags of peanut brittle for church fundraisers and at one time as our only personal income, I have to smile as I watch others make p'nut brittle....I've never seen ANYONE duplicate the recipe I have used for years, but I can say out of all the brittle I have had, mine is second to none....by the way, ALL your candies look wonderful...thanks for all the info..enjoy all your posts...

@@GrammaPatriotI'm really sorry, but I don't give it out....took me several years of tweeking to come up with how I do it....and to be honest, the ingredients are probably the same as hundreds of other recipes, but I definitely combine/cook mine totally different...and I didn't think that would make a difference, but it really did.....as I said, we have made and sold thousands of bags as church fund raisers and also have used it for our personal income when out of work....one craft show we did, we took 200 bags and after giving out samples, we were sold out well before noon....we have had hundreds (I'm not stretching that number either) of people tell us it was the best they had ever eaten...I don't use a thermometer either....I go strictly by color....
