I do occasionally have a few days/weeks break from PSVR, but considering I bought it day one and I already have around 30 games for it with a ton more in anticipation AND that i still use it to this very day (not to mention the amount of genuine fun I've had over the past year)... I think it has definitely been worth it.

If there is one game that screams for VR implementation, it is ALIEN ISOLATION. The game already had me screaming out in terror at times, and rushing to the bathroom other times in just its standard viewing form. (I love Alien Isolation, and personally consider it canon in the Alien universe). If this game were redone for VR, I also imagine it would be the last game I ever played...for the rest of my life, which I would expect to be however far I actually made it into the game. LOL!

PSVR has totally ruined standard gaming for me. I simply can't enjoy a game anymore without the immersion that PSVR brings. I'm quite happy with the selection of games too, they're quite varied and offers new things we haven't played before. I think it's really exciting to be part of the first wave of home VR and see how we as players and game companies are slowly finding our way towards what VR games should be like. The same kind of excitement we saw in the 80s and 90s, with all the innovation that was going on back then.

I wish that more could have been done and made with Xwing VR....hell, I'd love to see a VR version (with updated graphics) of the old PC classics: X Wing, Xwing vs TIE Fighter, TIE Fighter, and Xwing Alliance...especially with Thrustmaster HOTAS capability.

People saying about graphics have NO idea. VR presentation STOMPS 4k presentation . Its about presence. I own a psvr and a samsung ks8000 horizon looks LIKE NOTHING ELSE but the feeling in aolua project or Farpoint stomps it.

@@cloudycolacorp well I thankfully have the newest Ps4 Pro model as well as a gen 2 headset, so I can't say I've experienced quite the same. But to the op, you're absolutely right, I own a 4k tv and love my One X and Pro graphics, but something about VR even if it's only 1080 like PSVR is completely different. And it has the ability of 120hz refresh whereas other headsets don't offer as high... I believe it's one of my best purchases made. And I said to someone about a week ago that I loved how easy it was to get into PSVR, and that PSVR is probably the best entry point into VR price-wise, and he told me it was literally the worst because it's only 1080p and that it's the cheapest lmao.

It’s crazy, this came out four years ago from me writing this today in 2022 and it’s literally the first time I am buying anything VR and I am so excited. I was split between oculus and the PlayStation VR but after seeing the game library and me being a loyal Sony fan I have to definitely go with the PS VR.

I love PlayStation Virtual Reality (PSVR)! I played Resident Evil 7 all the way through twice while wearing the PSVR headset and experiencing it all in VR. I do NOT have the aim controller but I did play some of Farpoint. I play Rigs mechanized combat league from time to time. I enjoy watching 360 degree videos on KZbin in VR. I tried Job Simulator in VR which was fun. I am excited for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR.

Psvr was the best gaming decision I’ve ever made , I remember back in the 90s I wished vr was where it is today , I kinda steered me in the wrong direction where I almost didn’t buy VR cause I was afraid of that let down experience I had in the 90s , but I decided to give it another try and boy I’m so happy I bought it , I honestly have to say the small 3 vr missions in ace combat is the best gaming experience I’ve ever had and I’ve been gaming since Atari in the 80s , anybody on the fence about buying psvr , erase any doubts about it and buy it ! It’s that great ! Some games can’t even be put into perspective until you try it , but make sure you go for the best titles as they are the ones that will leave you with those jaw dropping experiences , and I haven’t even played that many VR games , also many are decently priced and some demos or short experiences are even free downloads ! So trust me , buy it and you won’t be dissappointed ! 💯

Everything about PSVR is great, the display is great when the software is developed by the right people, RIGS for example, and it's still early enough in the PS4 and PSVR life cycle that developers have more to learn in making PSVR games look nice. By Christmas we'll have like at least 3 more big AAA must play PSVR games like The Inpatient, Skyrim, and Doom, not to mention the amazing indie games like Megaton Rainfall that show what even a tiny dev team can do with PSVR. As of now the PSVR is doing incredibly well in every way, it's no longer a question as to will it succeed, it already arrived and conquered the VR market, it's THE VR to get, and people who don't have it at this point are missing out on something magical.

The X-wing mission was cool but I was a bit disappointed in the rules physics in that one. The ships handle like they are airplanes in ordinary gravity despite being in middle of space where there shouldn't be a specific direction of up or down. It's probably true to the movies though since Lucas was inspired by old world war footage.

omg just thought of a cool mod for Skyrim vr watching this! shooter mod! basically you can use that awesome gun controller desined for psvr and take it into the world of skyrim shooting enemies and maybe also using it as a melee weapon as well with an attached bayonet on the end of it. now lets home that someday they let mods get made for psvr and we actually see this happen because omg yes yess yesss!!! Hello, I was little bit sceptical after trying out some games like skyrim - the graphic was so pathetic, that I thought immediatelly about selling this set. Also resident evil graphic is really weak, the march in the jungle was very dissapointing. But then, I started the Battlefront X-wing mission. BAM! That was mindblowing experience. I strongly recommed to try it, this is something really shocking and gives You an idea what VR is. Afterwards, You can only think what can happen in the future with next generastion of sony ps, and I am tempted also now to invest into PC solution to have better graphic, which is really dissapointing in PS4.
