Love, love your videos! They are so helpful! I love hand washing the dishes that can’t go in the dishwasher, because of warm soapy water. Strange....I know. I just find it relaxing and therapeutic somehow. I hate cleaning the bathtub because my knees are bad and getting down that low to clean it hurts my knees. I love the satisfaction of a clean house but do not enjoy the actual act of cleaning.

Same here!! Especially if I’m cooking and I’m trying to toss the raw chicken container quickly before it drips. I turn to toss and it has no bag 😡 Wash my hands. Get new bag. Put it in then toss the chicken container in the trash. Then get back to cooking. 🙄

Love your videos! I too put extra trash bags at the bottom of the can. It’s so convenient to grab a new one when needed. I also organize my cutlery in the dishwasher. I’m always cleaning the kitchen counters I’m obsessed with this Mrs Meyer’s all purpose cleaner that has a basil scent, oh my! It smells delicious!!! I can’t stand to see crumbs or blurry patches all over the counter it drives me nuts. I love cleaning my home. I do a spring cleaning every 6 weeks. Including inside outside windows, move furniture and clean behind them. All the furniture gets polish, baseboards get cleaned and wash all the floors with a steamer. My home has been decluttered so it is much easier to do. I even wash my garage floor on a monthly basis. There is a place for everything in my home so that makes it a stress free place to live.

I load 3 bags into the bin at one go. Saves time and helps to keep the bin clean as bits just fall into the bag underneath. I do it for all bins, bathrooms too. Plus the bags slide out more easily.

Thanks for the tips! I actually do most of these. Like the multi tasking. One thing I do every morning when my coffee is brewing I empty the dishwasher. And the way you load the dishwasher is the way I do it too. I don't do the garbage bags in the bottom because sometimes a bag might leak & then all of our garbage bags are ruined. BUT At the school I used to work at every single garbage can in that school has garbage bags at the bottom. 1 thing I absolutely hate cleaning is not really cleaning per say it's putting away clean laundry. I can sit & fold it all day long & I even love to iron but to put it away for some reason I hate it. lol.

Hate cleaning the shower and bath tub, but surprisingly not the toilet! One question I do have is, what is your take on reusable paper towels? I am looking into way of throwing out less and reusing more and came across reusable bamboo towels. Every week on trash night I go through the fridge and toss everything old then take a hot washcloth and wipe down the shelves (before it gets refilled). If you do it regularly and make it part of a routine you can do this faster than you think ;)

Don't go to the grocery store until you run out of things, esp. meats and veggies. When do you go, only buy what you need (don't get sucked in to trying new things, nor promos). Once you've used up all your meats, THEN you can go shopping again!

Hate: cleaning the windows!! With a passion! Mostly because its such a large project removing all house plants & other in the way objects like furniture etc. from the windows before you can even get started on the actual cleaning. And then giving all the plants a shower to remove dust from the leaves... And then the dripping on the floors. And then never getting finished because you have to clean the inside of the windows too (double glazed windows). And finally, putting everything back again! It's an entire days work!

Not exactly a time saver, but on the theme of dishwashers, when I’ve got a few people over for dinner, and I can’t warm the plates in the oven, I put the plates in the dishwasher on the quick wash cycle to coincide with when dinner is ready. Voila, hot plates, that also have the added benefit of definitely being perfectly clean! Love the channel xx

What I spend too much time cleaning - - every night after dinner I soap up and completely clean our stainless steel kitchen sink and then when I wip it dry with our microfiber cloth, I take that damp cloth (it's quite damp) and wipe down our stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge fronts. It actually just takes about 3-4 minutes, but I feel the need to do it nightly or else it all looks finger printy and water spotty... I hate to clean: windows I'm loving the large microfiber towels that I ordered from you to dry my hair! I bought 4 so that I can give 3 to my granddaughters this year for Christmas! Debbie in WA Ü

Hey Melissa .. question for your laundry refresher. Can u use it without the air dry mode? Like spray and hang it to dry maybe. Cost money for a dryer for me. I like the idea of putting similar items together in the dishwasher, but with the silverware it is hard to do because we just have the small compartments in that basket so I would be afraid that the spoons would touch if there in the same small area.

Hi Melissa, I have a problem with my dishwasher. I have a newer Bosch dishwasher however, when I take my clean dishes out, there is a light coating of soap or little speckles of soap left on/in my dishes, especially my cups & bowls. I only wash them in hot water so, I am perplexed why this is happening. I use finish soap which is what Bosch recommends. Thank you!

At my house, the vacuuming never ends. We have a fairly large house, hardwood and tile upstairs, carpet downstairs. Plus 3 dogs and 2 busy younger teens. We live on a gravel road. And our smallish back yard borders a state park. Leaves, pollen, seeds, bugs-no end to the stiff that comes in. I vacuum every single day, and most days you can’t tell.

Bathrooms 3 of them! I have heavy iron in my water. Husband says no to a water conditioner, so I have found only two things to use. 1 toilet bowl cleaner. 2 iron out or other remover both have bad fumes and still have to clean soap scum! Suggestions please???

Hi Melissa! I’m hoping you can help me with this new dilemma I have with my laundry. I recently switched to free and clear detergent, fabric softener and dryer sheets, etc. because my skin hates anything that contains fragrance! I haven’t had a problem with essential oils, but that’s about it. Maybe I got used to how fragrant other detergents are and how long that fragrance lasts, but now I feel like my laundry isn’t coming out fresh at all. Do you have any recommendations?
