I remember reading different wikis on Snake and I think one of them said that he is a half-snake mutant. Some info also said that the piece of hair he has standing up sometimes moves according to his feelings, and he can sense vibrations through the ground with his skin like a snake. He can actually understand snakes, so it's not him being delusional. Snake is one of my absolute favorite anime characters, and I had a Summer day with nothing to do, so I just kept researching him. (I don't remember if there was anything else though..) ^^

I tried to talk with a friend in the past about snake. And she was adiment that he was part Naga or something like that. There was nooo talking to her about any other options. Personally, i think he was a lab experiment like finny was and when they were done with him sold him to the first circus. As for the snakes, you could argue that yes he does understand them and interprets. But personally, with him being a bit of a timid character that probably hasn't had much people experience. I think in many cases he uses the snakes as two things. 1. His shield so when he does say what he wants to, he doesn't feel endangerd cause hes then merely interpreting for the serpent. Hes not speaking for himself. 2. Much like Quasimodo and his Gargoyles or a child with stuffed animals he assigns personalities and voices to each to make them real companions at least in his mind.

If not.....can you just watch one piece until episode 30 pls I know the length of the anime is ridiculous but that's why we really love it,we just want it to continue The first arc isn't the best way to show how one piece really is,but after episode 30...I know that you will know why this anime is good...even after that arc...it becomes even better I'm not really good at explaining stuff but this is the best that I can do to convince you ^_^

I actually first came across this character when I was looking for some fanfics of a naga (snake boy), and I never knew that Snake was the name of a character from Black Butler until I read a fanfic on DeviantArt. I’m not even close to season 3 yet, so this makes me want to get back to watching Black Butler. I’m normally afraid of snakes (venomous ones, really, I’m just afraid of death, and I heard that their venom can and will kill you. I’m more comfortable with non venomous species, though, even though I never held one before), but after reading some fanfics of Snake (these fanfics are really cute, honestly, especially when his snakes interact with the reader!), once I get to Season 3 onwards, I think I would take quite a liking to this character.

Personally I thought Snake had a skin condition but he does have these snake like eyes but I just thought it was a part of the art style and how the mangka wanted to design him. As to him talking to his snakes at first I didn't think could talk to the but he does understand and know how to read a snakes body language. And talking though them as a way of dealing with social anxiety and most likely how he cops with his past trama. But now I think the mangka wants to keep him as a bit of a mystery for now, but thoughs are just my thoughts.

so, I don't think the anime clarified this, but perhaps someone that's read the manga would know: Does Snake actually work for Ciel when he moved into the manor, or does he just, sorta, vibe? It's certainly unique, as they brought Snake along for the ride in Book of Atlantic, but left the other servants behind.

Snake is Ceils footman which means it was part of his job to come with him. If you don’t know, a footman is basically someone who served food at the dining table, filled in for absent butlers, carries heavy things and opens and closes doors. So similar to Sebastian’s job but also different.

I don’t know if it counts as a physical mutation but Mey-rin is another character that’s supposedly human and has a special ability that’s never been fully explained how it occurred. We know a lot about her past as of the manga currently but there’s never a real explanation for why her eyes work so special we just now that as of what we’ve seen it’s always been that way.
