You are talking about something you probably never tried. Those belts are awesome and I am sure, if ever had one you will never go back to ''holes''. I have 3 of them and can only recommend. Jose promotions is only win-win situation. If you like it buy, if not skip. there is still a lot of value in his videos.

Yeah, no. I have a few slide-style belts (mostly Trakline) myself, and they just aren't that nice. I use them when I need to carry items on my belt, and the CCW belts have held up well for that purpose. However, they're bonded leather (essentially plastic). They have to be synthetic in order to put the track for the buckle in. They just don't hold a candle to a quality leather belt.

Anson belts are a poison on youtube, and lots of people push their products hard. I've never seen anyone give a review that goes more detailed than the standard marketing line of "wow isn't this neat, there aren't any holes!" And anyone who's willing to push that marketing in their videos loses a substantial amount of credibility in my opinion.

no holes looks ugly? I'm not trying to debate here, but im trying to understand what is "ugly." Traditional pierced belts expose those holes, I think it's the only difference. Buckles are interchangeable in both styles, so that is technically not an issue. Anyway.... everyone is entitled to their opinion.

ray britton since your hair is so different from European or Asian people's hair it is not the same. and if you are going to your barber every two weeks that hard part actually works. I think he is only talking about the guys that let it grow out too much and is putting emphasis on how unpractical it is. since your curls will not be swayed by styling products anyway, I think the flexibility argument does not apply to you.

I agree with most but disagree with some. The "man bun" can look good if you have the right face/head shape and so does every hairstyle, source: my brother rocks a man bun and it look really good on him(and is the only hair style that actually compliment his face/head shape). The other is the fake/replica items, sometimes you're poor and you can't find item with a similar style, source: I wear a fake Porsche Design frame on my glasses and since I'm from a developing country and poor even for the standards here there is no way I'd afford the real deal.
@Kenshin564
@Kenshin564 7 жыл бұрын
bios47 the problem is that with replicas you still pay for the brand name. you overpay massively for something that has no quality at all. why not go with something inexpensive where the quality actually fits with the price?
@Kluneberg
@Kluneberg 7 жыл бұрын
Hm, in my experience it's mostly the opposite. Usually the replica is even cheaper(if you order online from China, like from aliexpress) even than a low-end/budget branded item while offering the same "budget" quality. In my case I paid $30 for the fake Porsche glasses frame, where the cheapest frame in the optic shop where I'm from are something like $30-$40 for one from a budget brand(kwiat), in both cases the quality is pretty much the same(not good) so the style of the item becomes the deciding factor. In some cases you're right though, like the sneakers example that Jose gave, the cheap ones are usually pretty of bad quality.

@Kluneberg

I already replied the same to another dude, but as I said in my experience often you can get a better quality/price with the replica than the budget brand option.
@xSl33pyH3adx
@xSl33pyH3adx 7 жыл бұрын
bios47 Many of those replicas are made in horrible, unsafe work environments by underpaid, overworked people, including children! They're basically slaves! And when you purchase these items, you might be supporting terrorist groups, sex and drug trafficking, and other illegal activity. And if that isn't enough to make you stop buying fakes, also know that those replicated items could contain materials that are hazardous to your health.

Carlton From Upstairs Nah. A fair share of white people with strong jawline, piercing eyes, inward noses and alpha features can rock that shit. My cus is Indian, although I've to mention our family is kinda weirdly exotic and don't really look like the posterboy Indian (we have inward thin noses like white people, light olive skin like Latinos, we're much taller than our countrymen, for comparison: the average Indian is like 5'7-5'8, whereas I'm one of the shortest males in my family being 6'0, 16 and still growing, our eyes and hair aren't all brown and black, I've hazel eyes and middle-dark brown hair, my cus has turquoise eyes and brunette hair etc.) and absolutely rocks the man-bun. He doesn't have a flat top of the head or whatever. I guesd it comes down to the individual but I agree that MOSTLY Asians rock it.

I agree with everything except the belts. Belts with holes are classic. To me that'd be like replacing the suit jacket with a sweater. While it could work in the right setting, for me there's just no replacing the classics. Although, while for me they're no replacement, but rather an addition, the new belts are an interesting modification to mens wear and I can see a great future in them. Overall a good video. Thank you for your time and service!

I wear jeans and a t more often than not, but men's fashion has always been interesting to me. this is cool. I thought the belt was cool too. all I can think is that a holed belt is stronger. Like if something snags my belt the holed belt buckle wouldn't break. I think the rivet clip system might. I would buy them for dressing up though.

Zipper on the side is called 'Details'. Not everything on clothes is functional. Most are just for deco and make clothes more exciting. Many may find what you were wearing safe and boring, no fuss nor exciting. Anyone can easily pull that look. Clothes supposed to represent who you are, and it is a fun experiment too. I would say, go and try different looks and see what style fits you most. But dont end up being a fashion victim.

I think the fakes trend does need to go, however a lot of the style pieces you mentioned like long line tees and distressed denim are part of a different sort of style than what you're wearing yourself. You tend to go with a more classic look, which is totally cool and you pull it off. But sometimes that streetwear look with the long line tees or ripped up clothes looks really good if worn correctly. Though I do agree that super oversizrd clothing with sleeves that cover past your hands and such are a bit unnecessary as well as distressed upper body pieces.

Can't see the cut of the suit because he's not wearing one.. Not hard being pedantic. It has a formal collar, that's bad enough with a baseball jacket when your trying to criticise someone for wearing trainer's with trousers. Now shut up.

repu TF Its formal enough for people to wear a blazer with, even a tie.. You do know there are varying degree's of formal right? Its not formal enough to wear at a black tie event for example but its not informal enough to wear with a baseball jacket either.. Angelo Guerra gets it. Im actually of the opinion you should wear whatever the hell you like, but if you are going to criticise the least you can do is not go and wear something informal with something more formal yourself! Not only do you come across as pedantic but plain stupid aswell!

On your point about joggers, if you work out, your quads are likely too big for regular pants. They look bad on me and most of my friends aren't able to wear jeans because they're super tight around your thighs and glutes but tiny around your ankles and waistline. Idk about you but id much rather wear joggers out instead of track pants or pants with the problems i mentioned above

There's a difference between dressing well and dressing stylish. Trying to stay on top of trends will just make you broke in the end. Remember, the most attractive trait we guys have is confidence and if you have some clothes that you like but may not necessarily look good compared to others, who cares?

Zippers everywhere and the longline t-shirts seem to be bizarre crossovers from women's fashion. I've seen extraneous zippers in women's casual fashion and women's high fashion for years, but I was really surprised when the most recent issues of Threads magazine included an article about adding side zippers to both side seams of a women's blazer. Although they did zip open and closed and so did function as zippers, I can't think of any setting where a woman would be wearing a nice blazer and would need to open the bottom half of the side seams. If Duluth Trading Company, which specifically markets to tradesmen, doesn't see any need to side zippers for the men's blazers they market as being able to go from job site to board room, I can't imagine how a women's blazer would ever need side zippers. The longline t-shirts look like a tunic to me and it is true that historically tunics date back to the times of classical Greeks and Romans, and were popular up through the Middle Ages. But as far as modern fashion goes, I remember the tunic/long t-shirt and/or oversize sweatshirt plus leggings being popular in women's fashion in the 1980s, and I know that look was starting to be popular again last year. But I didn't expect the tunics to cross over into men's fashion. I was set to ask if leggings were becoming part of men's fashion too, except that some of skinny jeans I've seen might as well be leggings.
