I like to set myself targets with my investments. Once they achieve the target I will allow myself a frivalous acquisition! I dont have debt and really hate subscription services as they affect cash flow. I buy clothes from supermarkets usually once they have worn out, I have shirts that are older than my kids. My weakness is my car. But that was funded by a property deal.

It was luck-just being in the right place at the right time. I attended a seminar in Los Angeles late last year, where a financial and trading consultant, Laura Bledsoe, was featured and interviewed. After the event, I reached out to her. At the time, I didn’t know much about trading and investing, so I spoke with her about it. She later introduced me to her platform, where I and others could invest.

What can someone who after paying their mortgage and all other expenses (debt free except mortgage) do with remaining couple hundred pounds to invest it wisely? I dont have huge sums of money to begin with, Is putting all of it into index funds such as S&P 500 a smart thing to do?

Yes, exactly. If UK, open Stocks and Shares ISA - and invest in a low cost monthly ETF like S&P500. Compound interest and long term growth will eventually mean a huge sum to make you happier with your finances.
