So going on the assumption that "with eyes closed" is more figurative than literal, my list would be: - Final Fantasy X (now this one I actually think I could do some of with my eyes closed, given that it's turn-based. I used to be able to navigate the menus like a madman, and at my peak I used to be able to recite the boss strategies turn-per-turn, due to the fact that the dark aeons required flawless strategy in order to beat them. I remember when I first played it, because basic KZbin guides were not around, you either had to download a giant PDF file from gamefaqs or just 100% the game the hard way, I sunk so many hours into completing it that it began to mess with my perception whenever I closed my eyes. Screw all the minigames though, like the chocobo race, butterfly catching and lightning dodging). - The Uncharted Series (I slowly worked my way up until I was able to complete the games on the hardest difficulty, which essentially means you have to be able to complete every combat encounter without getting hit. Thus I learned most of it off by heart). - Dark Souls 1 (not that unusual for people who play these games, you quickly learn every enemy placement, and with enough playthroughs, every item placement and every single trigger for boss attacks). - Def Jam: Fight for New York (don't ask).

Rob - The spiral in Dragon Mines can be quickly got around by using the hop-brake technique. Hop in the air and QUICKLY press Square while turning then get back on the accelerator JUST BEFORE landing the hop. If you're still holding square when you land you will lose too much speed. The timing is tricky but once you have it down 2 or 3 of these hops helps you navigate round the spiral much more quickly. You can also use this to hop over the fence at the U-turn towards the end of Hot Air Skyway, letting you skip most of the corner and carry much more speed through it.

Also, for the spiral in Dragon Mines, you do a brake midair jump. Press jump, brake, directionals and down together in and it’s more easier to clear the turn. Also doing in rhythm makes turns more sharper. Remaining momentum will carry your cart forward and you will maintain some speed as well.

I used to actually play a game with my eyes closed( more like a part of a game), it was flying a plane in gta5. I would highjack a plane, take it onto the runway, turn off the engines and then close my eyes. While being blind I would take off, cross the map and land the plane at the other airfield. It was honestly some of the most fun I had with that game

Rob for Dragon Mines use the shortcut for faster lap time. Build some reserves and then airbrake (jump + Square(and let go of X)) to align yourself with the minecart-track, press X again and spam jump along the track to lose least speed and as you reach the spiral, airbrake again to the left to jump down to the top of the spiral. You're welcome for easy sub-N. Oxide time.

Rob, for the Dragon Mines, try to maintain a boost all the way before reaching the wooden platforms, then jump-break 3 times. It's a bit clunky, and not as fast as drifting, but it's the best thing I can think of to maintain speed. Like, in that video you almost did it, but you missed the first good angle. If the first jump doesn't send you over the edge 6/10 times, you aren't cutting it close enough.
@trizziebrah44175 жыл бұрын

I share your entries of MGS and FF8, and I raise you Resident Evil 5, and Valkyria Chronicles. I know exactly where every enemy in RE5 spawns before it happens, to the point where I always carry a stack or two of proximity mines just for the luls, as often times enemies spawn in an area of the map you have previously visited. Sudden explosions off in the distance, followed by empty rooms normally filled with enemies were always a surprise to my online co-op partner, and a good laugh to me. I can also complete every chapter of VC in the minimum number of turns, usually 1 or 2, and what a great game that is.

Good choice with Metal Gear Solid, Rob. Like you, I've almost memorized every line of dialogue in that game. "There are six members of FOXHOUND involved in this terrorist activity. Psycho Mantis, with his powerful psychic abilities. Sniper Wolf, the beautiful and deadly sharpshooter. Decoy Octopus, master of disguise. Vulcan Raven, giant and shaman. And Revolver Ocelot, specialist in interrogation and a formidable gunfighter. And finally, in charge of them, FOXHOUND's squad leader...Liquid Snake." God, I love that game.

Tomb Raider 4 Last Revelation, Tomb Raider 3 as well when I was a kid. Dragon Age Origins (I finished it like 20 times) and Borderlands 2 now when I'm adult, I played all of these games religiously, actually my lv 80 Siren save for Borderlands 2 got corrupted a few days ago (that's about 3 times the length of main story worth of playing and then some) and I've already leveled up a lv 50 Gunzerker in like 2 days or something.

I bet Rob could get through that blindsided CTR track if he just had some audioguidance. like nath or dave telling him when to go left or right

For me, it's Tales of Symphonia on the GameCube. I played that game 10 times, completing most of the sidequests along the way.
