I just ordered a x9 game player 5 in screen. As long as it plays mortal Kombat and Street fighter that's all I give a fux about I don't care about any other games the only other game I might play as Mario kart or super Mario Bros I think it'll handle those three games fairly well

Probably get a more responsive ui if you use a different launcher or enable force GPU in 2d. That's located in developer options

I did have the for Gpu in 2D switched but it made no difference. Changing the home screen may work but in all honesty even searching for stuff on the play store was a chore. It took forever to load anything.

Yep. I had high hopes for this one but sadly it turned out to be a lame bit of kit. Talking of kit, my new consoleised MVS arrived to Japan yesterday so I should have it soon. Got a 161 in 1 cart with it and an official clean cartridge of Fatal Fury Special (one of my favourite games) too. Expect a video on that next week.

You're welcome. I would not recommend this to anyone unless you're happy playing 16 bit or under. A cheap android phone will run PlayStation and N64 just fine and maybe even Dreamcast.

Zelda Breath of the Wild is really good. I got it on the Wii U initially, recently bought a switch and got it on that, though the Wii U version is just as good. Breath of the Wild is lovely on the Wii U but incredible for the Switch being a handheld device as you can see for miles, the game is just huge. Even though it amazes with graphics and size, it's the feel of the game, the way Link moves so effortlessly, even with a newer more modern control method (Breath of the Wild has a dedicated jump button) and even though i'm not a Nintendo fanboy, this shows why they are still at the top of their game.;)

None. Thy all have issues. I'd say the Telex Ulike is probably the best but the screen on that is tinny and it is only slightly better performance wise than this console.

georgiaridgerunner 79 I'll save him the trouble, the DVD player sucks as a new emulator. I ended up using mine as a project to try add a Genesis GOAC clone to it. So far the problem is actually getting to keep the cartridge slot.

Retro Core it looks good when you boot it up, until you notice that it runs at 5-6 fps. Honestly this is Chinese "Chabaduo" taken to its most extreme. As a portable video player it's not bad, but then again a cheap Android phone with a TV tuner is around the same price

I'm sure ZX speccy games would be just fine on this device since it can run the 16bit consoles pretty well. I think many people buying something like this are more interested in the likes of PlayStation emulation which this sadly can't do.

It's a shame these tabs are quite so slow, but still amazing how much tech you can get for very little money these days. Less than a gig of Ram on an Android tablet... yeah I had a feeling it wouldn't be good for much more than 8 and 16 bit titles. Although the fact that it can run some N64 games I get the impression the PS1 emulator is just poorly optimized but there's still the ram and the 1ghz processor holding it back which will probably hurt it with Modern android games too. (I'm at like half way through the video and its about as I expected so far,) assuming the rights management is even valid enough to allow downloading a game from the Play store.

Bluetooth controller does work with this apparently. I can't test them though as I don't own any. Bluetooth controllers unless the Xbox One controller counts.

Yeah, that would work well. It probably has about 2GB of ram too. This thing only has 512 MB. My son has a Sony ZL2 tablet that rocks even now. It can run Dreamcast at 50 to 60 fps.

My old Advan T1Ci tablet also runs as bad as this, it was shit... Almost exact same problem while I tried to play certain games that takes a lot of RAM (for me, I played the PvZ 2 on that tablet). The results are: it runs horrible as this one, and it always crashes during the gameplay... Not only that, several of built-in apps that were installed there are runs on the same speed, very slow indeed and they look like want to crash, no idea why... Since I was pissed by that tablet, I got rid of it completely and replaced it with a better Android device, yet it has some lag into it, but not that bad...

The Tlex Ulike is only sold on Aliexpress now from sellers who have been on the site for less then a year..... Not sure if I am going to trust them.... Another youtuber found a 7" android handheld game system that seemed awesome for what it was, but it was only sold on aliexpress & it's sold out.... & I can't find this handheld online anywhere, even trying the most vague searches & trying to match a picture to it.... Sadly the android devices are kind of rare. I once reveied this tablet like device with game controls but it was awful. So Laggy and had a terrible screen. It was slow too. I wish there was a good Android gaming tablet but unfortunately they all seem to use the same hacked Android 4.1 and have half a gig memory. That's just not enough. You need at least 2gb memory.

Hi. I'd like to help but I think you have a broken system. When I connected mine to the PC the tablet must be switched on. The PC could then see the tablet and I could copy files to the tablet. I was using Windows 10.

Biggest problem with these cheap gaming tablets is They tend to put too high resolution lcd screens to low spec android devices. If it was lower resolution screen it would run ps1 games just fine...

Retro Core Yes. That's the problem too... But resolution does miracles with low memory devices. My first android phone had 512mb ram and 800mhz processor with 800x480 screen and it ran PlayStation games quite well

Nope on the HDMI but it does have Bluetooth so I guess you could connect another controller that way.

I always find the software to be the biggest problem with cheap devices, nobody to fix or optimize the OS or emulators after the thing ships other than yourself heh. With emulator performance it's always going to be a moving target with only raw global performance increases to fill those gaps. Except they ship with emulation as a feature so idk. O_o???

Before making this video I did configure all of the emulators I had installed. Originally PlayStation wouldn't even boot. Dreamcast wouldn't either. I guess this really is too slow. I reckon if it had an extra 500mb of ram it would preform so much better.
