Thank you Tomosan. Wonderful speech. 6/7 I can work on. I get scared of heights in a Cage. I am so very sorry, no CAGED for me. 🤷♂🎼 But I do understand the concept as a guitar is an instrument of patterns. I taught myself a way to create the Triads Vertically and force learning the notes better about a year ago. Without looking in books for patterns. I wanted to learn and hear the notes. When going up towards 6th string. I lose the highest note and seek it on the next upper string. So-Do-Mi on 3-2-1 will become Mi-So-Do on 4-3-2. Next move up will then be Do--Mi-So on 5-3-2. Logically then So-Do-Mi on 6-5-4. Because the lower note just goes to the front of the line - leap frogging as it were. Going down is just the opposite. eg. D-Chord Triad = A-D-F# -> F#-A-D-> D-F#-A-> A-D-F# Hope this thought pattern aides another. Doing this greatly aided in my learning the fretboard notes much better. Slowly and cleanly. We certainly don't want the ears to get used to "bad/wrong" notes. -❤🕯🙇♂🎼🎶

I also want to commend your improvement as content creator & business person, I don't know if this is your daughter or maybe, student, who helps you with this because they are in touch with expectation of younger audience. I say this because they have more to learn. (most of the time) Whoever it is that help you with this today, I see the most organized thumbnail, and video subject/topic I have seen on your channel. If you continue in this way KZbin algorithm will share your content to more people. Arigatau sensei, & keep on going! you offer something invaluable. Loop

Wow that is alot of exercises/lesson. I think the crazy chromatic is pretty neat. The sheet that you show at: 15:37 is what the old BOX SYSTEM used to look like, but usually it was shown in partials, and sometimes chopped to Pentatonics. The Book from the early 70's that was teaching the Box system was Called "Improvising Rock Guitar" Pat Thrall was the example player. You can look it up it was really the 1st decent Guitar instruction book for Rock players. The example Songs with play to back round music were Snaker and Homage to Hendrix. They came in the book, the real thin plastic vinyl disc form.

My pinky is way too short to reach the required fret without me having to lift my index and middle fingers from their fret positions. What can be the solution ?
@TomoFujitaMusic Жыл бұрын
@@kettaiyong2959 Thanks for watching. That case, like I suggested that you can start at 5th fret or 7th fret. Place your left hand thumb is at the center of back of the neck. So you can spread your fingers fully. It's not easy at all so do a little every day for two weeks. Lower your left thumb position. And play heigher frets. Only 4th & 3rd strings.
