At around 11:38, Mac referenced the Sticky holster as good for pocket carry. I agree. I am old school about guns, from my days living on our family farm, so I actually prefer revolvers and lever action rifles. But even though it's legal in Texas, I'm not going to open carry a revolver on my hip for self-defense, much less walk into Walmart carrying a Henry lever action. So for EDC I have a micro-compact 9mm. I can't quite get my pinky on the grip, but it's not too snappy. I've experimented with IWB & OWB, even tried ankle carry inside my boot. None of those carry positions were comfortable for me. But when I tried pocket carry, it worked for me. And my holster is like a Sticky; it's a DeSantis Gunhide, Nemesis model. The outer texture of the holster is "pebbly" (like a basketball), the inside smooth. So the draw is quick, and the holster stays in my pocket. My pants are Coleman's canvass utility pants (no tight-fitting, skinny-legged jeans for me), with ample pockets that perfectly conceal the pistol in its holster. And on the right leg, there's a side pocket where I keep my spare mag.

I am new to firearms and really appreciate your videos! I like how simple you present each topic. Regarding the targets. They are very cool, however the club i belong to says silhouette targets are not allowed. mass. law of some sort restricts them, still learning. In any case any idea if they will make bulls eye style? Thank you and keep doing what you are doing!

Nice change of pace seeing some rifle shooting. Cool video. Also, G9 Defense for the win! Such amazing rounds.

during cold months my range uses 'Throom' targets indoors that have a base and we built a rack that can reset all 6 with a rope pull, we only shoot LRN 22lr pistol at them but 10 guys, 10 times is 100 hits, usually in a 2 inch area of the 6" target, heals great until about week 6 the accumulated holes become pass thru, so have to hit a different area to knock down, becomes increasingly frustrating for competition times, by 10th week has to be replaced

I've been looking for a reactive target to try the Lehigh defenders & penetrators on & this might be the answer. I'm certainly not gonna shoot all copper philips head bullets at my steel targets. Ms. Stav, it's obvious you practice much more with your carry pistols than with the AR15 (judging group size) but those old 22 pumps are a lotta fun! Thanks for the product recommendation; I've always been a bit skeptical of self healing targets.

Point the camera at the target while you shoot. It will show how visible it is from a distance as they appear.

.. Interesting targets ... I've seen some self sealing materials have been out for maybe 5 years ... but NO clang or fragmented target ,, which adds 'something' to a hit when not accuracy bullseye shooting ..... Reactive targets are just more fun .. ... Looks like when Stav puts time with shotgun in defensive training ,, needs to fill her pockets full of rocks .... the 'ol shotgun overpowers her support stance ... BUT certainly a great home defense tool ...

Is it because your husband is a cop that you can shoot all those firearms that are 100% illegal in Massachusetts? You know, the state you live in? Because I live here and I can't own a firearm with any more than a 10rd magazine. That AR you fired looked like a 30rd magazine. Do I need to marry a cop to own those?
@SheEquipsHerself2 ай бұрын
You don’t have to marry one. You could become one…??

You could also buy a 30/10 rd mag. Looks like a 30 rd only holds 10. And try to not be so snarky in your comments!

Easy fix, can't have a higher capacity magazine than 10 rounds. Carry 5 mags with you, now you have 50 rounds (unless there is a law on how many magazines you can have on person)
